Every time we hit Whistler we always have to stop at the Great Glass Elevator for our candy fix. Although the candy is $1.00 per 100 grams of bulk candy we don't care because it's great to load up on a sugar high. Great selection of candy from the UK and a lot of selections from my youth such as Popeye cigarette candy, Lick a Sticks, Bottle Caps, Garbage Pail Kids, Nerds, and more retro ones. Nice part is you can mix and match bulk candy but not Jelly Belly jelly beans but all in all it's a fun place to blow some money on the way out of Whistler to be jacked up on sugar on the ride home.

One of my secret little obsessions. For some reason I can't help but stop in for some candy. I know that there's similar fare at places in Vancouver, I know it's ridiculously overpriced, but there's just something my sweet tooth can't resist here. Perhaps it's the super friendly staff who add the charm mixed with the freshness of the bulk candy... or maybe it's because this is where I discovered the Pucker Powder machine that is the stuff my childhood candy dreams are made of. Either which way, there isn't a visit to Whistler that goes by without a little hop up the elevator!
Caution: If I had children, I wouldn't let them load up their own bags of candy. 50g is $1... I watched a mother put down $15 for 2 pretty small (but I'm sure sugar high inducing) bags of candy here for a couple of bright eyed kids. That's one sugar coma I'm glad I didn't witness! -

It's a cute little shop. And they do have a lot of different candies from different countries. It's not the cheapest though.
They had the cutest mini CocaCola cans, I'm talking teeny tiny, so of course my friend and I decide to take a picture with it. BUSTED. The girl working there told us we weren't allowed to take pictures. What's the deal? Oh well, we already had the picture anyway, not like she can make us delete it. -

You will never spend more money on candy in your life. It's so overpriced its not even funny. That said, where else are you going to get your British fix? I am from the States so I blame my jonsing on my Scottish roommate. I have purposely forgotten the names of the magical candies she shared with me. I wish the process of forgetting would have happened sooner. I would have saved a lot of money!
