I bought a voucher for this place through GroupClick and figured I'd check it out.
The atmosphere is comfortable enough, but pretty vanilla. The service was good and the staff seemed to work well together to meet guests' needs. They serve a slightly spicy potato chip with dip before the meal instead of bread. They were tasty but be careful not to fill up on them. :) My friend and I both had sirloin steaks. I had mine topped with the blue cheese crust and sauteed garlic mushrooms. Soooo good! :) My friend isn't a big steak fan but she really enjoyed her meal. I am a fan of steak and I'd give the taste/texture/temp/quality a 7 out of 10 as steaks go. I like that you can choose 2 sides (which include salads if you want). I opted for the garlic mashed potatoes which were made even yummier with my garlic mushroom drippings (mmmmmm!) and the Cesar salad - a wedge of romaine with a oil-based Cesar dressing served with a slice of bacon and crisp bread round, topped with shredded parm. Really enjoyable. My friend got the house salad which was presented nicely and she said tasted great. For dessert we shared a hot apple pie a la mode. Awesome! All in all a good dinner. We had no complaints and will likely return when in the mood for steak.Listed in: Adventures with Vouchers
