It's Thursday night and a new episode of Jersey Shore is airing, what can be more appropriate than Italian for dinner. Stop by Graziano for the ingredients, they sell everything you need to make a delicious Italian meal; spices, cheeses, bread, pasta, sauces and sausage. Their quality pork sausage with Italian seasoning comes in link, patty or bulk forms and comes in three flavors; mild, hot and spicy and sweet. They also have pre-made tortellini and ravioli available for purchase in the freezer. Your homemade pasta is sure to delight and satisfy.

WARNING: Consumption of Italian foods will not give you rock hard abs like The Situation.

So so great! Graziano's is a small, unassuming and unpretentious little Italian store in what I perceive to be a not so nice part of Des Moines. Visited Des Moines from the west coast this past weekend and we went to Graziano's to find ingredients for pizza.
They have whole milk mozzarella that is fresh, as well as a sausage that is amazing! The pepperoni was wonderful too. I noticed they have wines with their own label on them, but did not try any that day and wish I had. A great selection of olive oils and imports from Italy.
They should charge people to walk in for the smell alone...it is a heavenly medley of herbs and spices. Also tried some jalapeno cheddar cheese that was out of this world.
I would love it if they shipped to the west coast...I would definitely be up for some of that out here!

Your local family operated Italian grocery mart, right here in Iowa, very cool. They make two kinds of sausage which you can buy ground or linked. (it's also available in hy vee and dahls) you will find many imported and domestic cold cuts, cheeses, and sausages as well as spices, herbs, dried beans and pastas. "mom's" running the register while some of the boys in back slicing And stocking.

A great specialty store with awesome meat, overall a fun place to go.

The minute you walk in the smell of Italian spices is just awesome. This is a no frills little Italian grocer but worth the trip. Pretty much whatever you need, they have it. Found some balsamic glaze (can't wait to paint a crustini with that)! Heard of this place from a few different local folks and they speak very highly of it. I now know why.

Graziano's is a long-time Des Moines institution that epitomizes this little Italy neighborhood on the near South Side.  It's an old school Italian grocery store and meat market.  Famous for their Italian sausage - all the best restaurants in town use it because it's so lean and tasty.  You can get everything you need for a great Italian meal, even the cookbook. They carry products from many Des Moines area restaurants from sauces to dressings and refrigerated items.
