Gray's is primarily a tire place (an OK Tire franchise) but is really a full service mechanic's shop as well. I dealt with them this winter to get new tires for one of my cars, and a set of tires I got from my own mechanic mounted on my other car. They're friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.
After I got new tires, I smacked a pothole pretty hard (gotta love Nova Scotia roads by the end of winter) and snapped a belt in one of my new tires. I took it back to them, and while the road hazard warranty I got wasn't a help sadly, they offered me a replacement tire for a great price, ordered it in for me and put it on the next day.
They also got me some very competitive quotes for some work I needed done, but "I have a guy", and they couldn't beat him - if ever he's too busy though I'd certainly give them a chance.
They offer a discount for DND employees, and they also have an arrangement with CANEX to finance tires under the CANEX plan, which is a pretty good deal for those in uniform. -

I found Grays quite by accident 2 years ago in the snow tire rush. They were able to fit me in the same day, when the dealership had quoted me a 2 week wait for an appointment.
SInce then, I've been back for tires, oil changes, and more significant work as well. When my older vehicle ran into some critical issues, they were straightforward enough to tell me that though they could fix it, it wasn't the best approach and it was time to get something new. I brought several used vehicles I was considering to them to have a look, and felt the information I received was more than worth the small fee charged. They were right about the one I eventually bought - a year later it has needed nothing but routine maintenance.
They are honest, competent, and knowledgeable, and will work with you to do what works best for your particular situation. I trust them - and Gail and Charlene in reception are really friendly too.
