I just had something happen to me that has never happened before...an auto mechanic just fixed my car...for free. Amazing.

It was a minor thing, but I went in there with an oil leak, which can potentially be very costly, and it ended up costing me exactly zero. Oh, and yeah, I brought it in at 8:00am this morning, without an appointment (my oil light was flashing), and they fit me in no problem.

As a woman, I totally recommend Grandview Tire and Auto, they are totally "female friendly" and go way above and beyond for service!

Finding someone to work on your car is often a hit or miss. Grandview has always been a hit for me.

Grandview was recommended to me several years ago and was immediately added to my speed dial. They are straight shooters and have come to my rescue on too many occasions to list here. I've never been disappointed.

Recently I noticed I had a headlight out. Drove my car in and was out in less than 30 minutes. It was probably a shorter amount of time in fixing my car but time actually flew by while I was there.

    Highly recommended.

There is nothing worse than being totally ignorant to inner workings of a device that we regularly depend on. This is my issue with cars, my ignorance makes me a sitting duck for mechanics itching to rip me off. Thankfully the guys at grandview do not fall in that category, they were straightforward and very reasonable. I'd recommend this place without hesitation, while I was waiting for my car there was a steady stream of customers and not once did I feel someone was upset with what they were charged or the work that was done.

I've been going to Grandview Tire for eight years and all I can say is they are awesome! John, Ed and now Chelsea provide a great customer experience, always taking the time explain what is going on and also giving options about repairs (like they tell you if it's essential, or can wait). I have never felt ripped off or lied to by the GT staff, and in one case when my starter blew a second time in two weeks (not their fault, my ignition wasn't turning back all the way in the cold), they replaced it free on warranty. These folks are honest and have reasonable rates and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Plus they are close to skytrain which is bonus when you're dropping your car off on the way to work.

I went to Grandview because it had good reviews in Yelp and they were right. Great service!!  Crappy tire gave me the run around but Grandview fixed it right away. Highly recommend.

Grandview Tire keeps my girl humming. John, the proprietor, is second generation car nut, and as a semi-retired racer he knows cars inside out. I drive a five speed forward standard, and need someone who can do a quick clutch adjustment (and knows where the clutch is!) and otherwise direct his staff to work on a carburetor and other objects such as a choke. I just got a great brake job done here. I've been going to Grandview for a few years now after a friend gave a good recommendation, and I have been satisfied with each job. If not, I speak with John or Ed, and have the work tidied up. I do some of my own work (sparks, as I prefer platinum) but like to have the bigger stuff done here. And any tire question can be answered here. Shop rates are average, and written estimates for big jobs are the norm. My car is in great shape thanks to the folks at family-owned and operated Grandview Tire.
