... Interesting... That's my first reaction to driving by this place and seeing their advertised goods.
Circle of Life bakery specializes wholesome organic breads, and gluten free baked items
This review is based solely off of a hot cross bun.
Fluffy, buttery baked goodness is something I crave so coming across a bakery that was trying something different piqued my interest.
This location is apparently not their main retail location, but they had an assortment of breads, pretzels, bagels, hot cross buns, cookies and such.
I decided to try a hot cross bun (hadn't had those in ages). It's not as buttery and fluffy as other hot cross buns that I've had (maybe has to do with the healthier baking?) but it was alright. A bit dry and lacking sweetness, it definitely would have been better had I heated it up. If it were't for the "healthier" aspect, I'd probably give it 2 stars. Given that it's organic and a healthier alternative I can feel less guilty about, I'm giving it 3 stars. It's good enough that I'll try their other baked goods next time.
Overall, if you're looking for a healthier alternative to some of your baked goods, you will want to stop by and see what Circle of Life has to offer.
Oh, and the person who works there is really nice :)
