This place is so good, it's ridiculous.
I don't mean that it deserves a couple of Michelin stars, but I do mean that everything from the service, to the decor, to the food & drink, was really, really good.
Our waitress was helpful, prompt, and VERY sweet. They have raspberry lambic on tap (yeah, I'm a sucker for fruity beer!). Travis drank his weight in rootbeer, of which all soda is bottomless and you serve yourself. I think it was even Tomas Kemper's, if I remember correctly. They have a few claims to fame on the menu including their fish tacos, red curry, and burgers. I know, sounds odd and maybe a little like boring pub food. But if you read the background, the owners are world travelers and love to bring back recipes from their travels and add them to the menu! This works very well in our favor. I chose to try the fish tacos and was not disappointed in the least. You get three tacos, spilling over with fresh pico de gallo and red cabbage. Lightly fried corn tortillas not greasy in the least and stood up to the copious amounts of filling. Spiced tartar-type sauce, just enough, not to the point where it spills out all over (I hate that!). And the fish was cooked perfectly, too. Three of them are MORE than enough for one person. I think two would have been plenty! They even give you sriracha sauce in case you want a kick, and yes, I added it to mine. The burger was quite respectable with lots of bbq flavor. I think I liked the potato "wedgies" that came with the burger best - they cut up potatoes, season them with a hearty seasoning, and fry 'em up!
The atmosphere is very laid back, clean and homey. The bar is absolutely gorgeous and makes me feel like maybe, just maybe, I could time travel to back in the gold rush and order up a pint of beer and a shot of whiskey. I hope to do that sometime in the future and experience more of the menu at Graham's! No reservations about it, I will be back.
PS, I think they have live music on Friday/Saturday nights! Fun! -

One of the things about visiting places on vacation is that you sometimes arrive to find things have changed while you weren't looking. Sorry, Darcy H.
Apparently the former owner's of Grahams got tired of arguing about fire codes and decided to close down the restaurant. Happily, one of his employees bought the restaurant and re-opened it. Not surprisingly, this has led to changes, some positive and some not.
Positives include a dining room remodel that opens up the space and makes it much more light and cheerful in the restaurant. They still have some of the awesome decor, like photos from the old movie shoot, but they've also upgraded with other art pieces that seem to fit better. The layout of the tables is also much improved.
The menu has changed, although they still primarily offer burgers with a few other random items thrown in. The lil' wedgies are gone, which is tragic, as the new options don't even come close. The sweet potato fries are the best choice of the lot, which includes regular fries and garlic parmesan fries. We ordered one of the burgers (which came with bleu cheese and apple slices), a bbq pork burger, and fish and chips. The fish was the winner of the evening, with a nice flavor and good sauce. Both of the burgers were all right, but strangely bland considering their interesting collection of toppings. The final verdict was that while everything was acceptable, and we are happy Grahams is still around, it has lost that special something that made it magical and unique.
It's very possible that we are suffering 'dead puppy' syndrome and once we have mourned the loss of the old Grahams, we will be more accepting of this new incarnation.Listed in: Northern Exposure

We stopped by here for a pickup after a hike in the Mt. Baker Wilderness. It's a small restaurant that embodies the KIR flavah of the Mt. Baker Highway, though this place has a pronounced sense of humor, as evidenced by the hilariously written tabloid newspaper style menu. That alone is well worth a visit, though the beer selection, bar food and funky ambiance will encourage you stay.
While I know food tastes better after a long hike, the potato wedgies were excellent on their own - just greasy and crunchy enough. We saved room for dessert, as should you, for the homemade ice cream sandwich, large enough to feed two, is undeniably one of the best I've had. And I love me my dessert, so that's high praise.
So should you find yourself headed to Mt. Baker, or happen to be rafting out of Glacier one summer's day, this place is well worth checking out. -

Good veggie burger, good pub food, good service; it is the fun mountain town vibe and authenticity that gives this place 4-stars. It's living history.
Everyone clomping around in boots, warming themselves around the big stove with windburned cheeks. Menus are printed like a neighborhood newspaper. Good times. Don't ever change, Grahams!

Very nice meal; party of 5 all ordered different things and I think we all enjoyed our orders (ribs, tofu with rice, sandwiches, etc.). Rustic and simple, not pretentious at all. Very laid-back, pool table, simple and good.

Graham's is such a gem! It's a perfect apres-ski place as they have a great selection of beer and the food is delicious. The fish tacos are a favorite and the burgers are very tasty. After trying the other restaurants in the area several times each, I have to say that Graham's is definitely my favorite.

Seriously this place is gold! It's just a simple quaint bar but they make excellent bar food, which is exactly what you want when you're around this area skiing or hiking. The service was great, the food made very fast yet you could tell it was made well with fresh, quality ingridients. I tried this place two times over a recent weekend and enjoyed it so much! I had my first lambic, which I guess is a slightly sweet & tart raspberry beer topped with some champagne, (served in a regular pint glass though), and some delicious fried rice. It came with fresh grated coconut on top which was a nice touch. My friend had a burger which I had a bite of and loved and my husband got an order of pot stickers, all were really wonderful. This is the kind of place that makes me respect bar food!

It's quaint. It's rustic. It's a lifesaver for people emerging from the backcountry of the North Cascades National Park. We spent several hours here refueling and gaining our bearings after a week-long backpack up to Copper Ridge. Nothing better than coming back in to civilization with a beer and a huge, cooked to order hamburger. We smelled. We sat on the porch. We languished over beers and food reflecting on the trips events and watched the world drive by. There aren't many options for eats in Glacier, and I would give this place my strongest recommendation. Really genuine and friendly people work here and are going to give you an honest meal at a reasonable price. After you're done stop over to the grocery store immediately adjacent and pick up a sixer of Kokanee to fully cement your Pacific Northwest Experience.

Know that it's a dive before you go in, and you'll have a great time! Ok food, keep an eye out for the special events they throw.

I am a long time fan of Grahams. My husband and I first visited Grahams on our honeymoon back in '91'. Grahams was a bit different back then, but still has that small town charm. The old wooden bar hasn't changed a bit. Big huge wood stove that they stoke throughout the day to keep you warm while you are there. Great fish tacos, and the burgers are fabulous. Not a huge menu selection, but something for everyone at least. You can even get a vegan burrito. Great beers on tap and even root beer on a help-yourself tap. You can even have a game of pool while you are there and the locals are very friendly.
Grahams is not a fancy place to have a romantic dinner, but you could certainly have a good time hanging out with locals and fellow skiers/boarders. Great and fun place to hang out after a day of skiing.
