Do not trust this Gym!!!!!
As soon as they have your banking and direct deposit information they do everything they can to rob their customers blind.
They have overdrawn and double drawn my bank account several times. They withdraw random miscellaneous fees whenever they feel like it even after withdrawing the monthly fees.
Staff is unhelpful at best when customers ask for ways to lessen the financial requirements.
Quitting this gym required five visits where each employee told me they could not do that, until i finally found a manager who informed me that any employee can do this.
Once again unless you have more money than you can count like the good life franchise does then do not trust this gym.
For a Company worth a lot of money and with locations across Ontario this is a disgusting money grab which i have unfortunately experienced first hand.
i am disgusted by how this company entraps potential clients with a free week but they do not tell you that you are then stuck in their contract for an entire year unless you pay the early cancellation of 300 dollars
HUGE SCAM overall
and the gym doesn't look like it has seen any improvements despite the constant withdrawals and insane amount of inflowing cash from their patrons as both my girlfriend and i can attest that they took way more than they were entitled to. -

unfortunately, goodlife has a monopoly on the gym options in london. this location is convenient for me, but it's the only selling point.
the equipment is filthy--rarely cleaned and it shows. they are often broken and not fixed till much later.
try to find another gym if you can-the customer service is THE WORST IN LONDON. the employees are rude and dismissive. they never respond if you thank them. they all look pissed to be stuck working in a dank basement.
every interaction i have with staff is painful and disappointing. they are grossly incompetent and exhibit discourteous behavior.
for example--no one says hello, no one offers help. they're almost hostile to see you-as if clients coming to the gym interferes with the staff's personal lives and chatter.
i dont know why people working at a gym act so snooty. they're not CEOs, they're sales reps.

History
Established in 1979
Just two weeks into his first year at the University of Western Ontario, David Patchell-Evans' life was changed in an instant. A motorcycle accident left the 20 year-old with broken bones, torn muscles and a severe shoulder injury.
The next 8 months were spent in rehab where he became a little obsessed with how people get stronger and get fit - fast. Determined to return to full physical fitness, he took up rowing, later becoming a member of the 1980 Olympic team. At school he switched from business studies to physical education, graduating with honours.
Patchell-Evans saw a big opportunity to share what he had learned about the power of fitness to transform a life. He purchased the small London club he worked out in, and GoodLife came to life in London, Ontario.
Through the past 30 years, GoodLife Fitness has evolved to become the leader in fitness and wellness across Canada. GoodLife is now the largest fitness company in Canada and the fifth largest in the world.
