Review from Edward L.
The food selection in this part of town really isn't the best. If you don't feel like Subway or KFC, this is pretty much you only choice for Western food.
Because nobody knows this place exists, there is plenty of parking outside, even though there are only 6 spots or so.
Upon first glance, I wasn't even sure if it was open. It reminded me a bit of that pawn shop in Pulp Fiction. Getting ready to dodge some bullets, I took a deep breath and ducked inside. Instead of finding a couple of dead bodies, I found a really friendly waitress who promptly sat me down and brought out a menu.
I had a chance to try the Pioneer Pizza (farmer's sausage, beef, onions, mushrooms). It was $11 for a 9". The crust was nice and thin, but it wasn't quite tomatoey enough.
For condiments, you can get parmesan, chili flakes, and their in-house chili powder. The powder actually wasn't bad at all.
Inside it was deathly quiet, even with another table occupied. The other party (some family) had a ton of awkward silences. Maybe people here don't talk as much. Maybe some background music would've been nice.
Pop was a bit expensive at $1.50 a can.
I didn't get a chance to try their feature fully-loaded pizza ("The Boss"), so maybe another fellow Yelper can try their hand at this one.
