Good service at this shop. I needed some new clips for my shoes. Not only did they replace the spd clips but they also cleaned and greased my pedals free of charge.

We sell cross-country, freeride, BMX, commuter hybrid, comfort, and kids bikes. We repair all kind of bicycles. We take brand name bikes in on trade and have a revolving selection of used bikes for sale. We specialize in commuter and mountain bike accessories. We've been in business for 20 years servicing the Western Communities, the rest of Greater Victoria, and the Cowichan Valley.
History
Established in 1989
Grant Turner opened Goldstream bicycles on Remembrance Day 1989, and owns the business to this day. He had worked in the bicycle industry for about a dozen years before that, and has a deep well of knowledge and experience that he imparts to everyone he hires. Goldstream Bicycles is now in its second location, only one block to the east from its first location, where it has been since 1997.
Meet the Business Owner: Grant T.
Grant first got into the bicycle industry in the 1970s, and worked in several shops over the next dozen years before opening up Goldstream Bicycles. He has seen it all over that time, and distinctly remembers the popularisation of BMX, the introduction of mountain bikes, the first suspension forks, the first disc brakes, and other things that most of the rest of us simply take for Granted. He continues to be an owner-operator involved in every facet of the business, doing everything from office work to bleeding hydraulic disc brakes.
