I must say I'm really impressed. I bought a used wedding gown at the Brides' Project that had a noticeable stain on the train. I was worried because the stain was old and the dress had lace and beading all over. Also, the stain was brown/yellow colour (food or wine I think), which I hear is very difficult to remove.
Golden Hanger Cleaners was able to remove the stain as well as the black dirt on the train without damage to the dress. They also did a wonderful job with pressing (or steaming?) the dress. The dress now looks brand new.
If you're looking for someone to preserve your wedding gown, I recommend you check them out. -

A professional and reliable on-site dry cleaner in the Bloor & Yonge area. Prices are about average. The space is clean and bright. Staff are professional and efficient. Their cleaning and pressing are both excellent.
One thing I like about Golden Hanger is that they have a modern and efficient operation. Their equipment seems reasonably new, they use a computer to track orders rather than scraps of paper, and they have one of those automated rotating racks so you don't have to wait for them to hunt your stuff down.
They also offer alterations and a delivery and pickup service, but I haven't tried either. -

This is the best drycleaner I have experienced yet in Toronto, though less efficient than the one at Bloor and Bathurst I habitually use. I go to the Queen West location and they have managed to take red wine and other remnants of a really great night out of a white dress, in addition to removing a year old red wine stain from a cashmere-wool sweater a friend had. The only handicap is the length of time their service takes.
