A comprehensive desi grocery shop with well stocked vegetable and produce section. One stop shop for all desi needs in Brampton, Mississauga area. Prices are competitive, especially compared to smaller grocers in Mississauaga area. The isles are wide and uncluttered even during busy days.
The only grouse? The owners let other vendors take over prime entrance spot during seasons including tax time, diwali etc. Soliciting by the vendors bothers regular shoppers.
As a desi in Pardes, I can empathize with sub z.'s comment "Staff and patrons seem to really gawk and stare at anybody not Indian" ... Perhaps because not many non-desis don't shop in desi grocers? -

Very depressing place to shop. Staff and patrons seem to really gawk and stare at anybody not Indian also, but that didn't really bother me much. Aisles are named after all the local streets in the neighbourhood which is a cute touch, a throwback to the days of IGA before they sold to Golden Groceries. Basic staples seemed very overpriced, a small bottle of Frank's Red Hot was $5.99 I remember when I needed to grab some for a last minute recipe :/
