My girlfriend likes this place a whole lot more than I do.
She might appreciate the convenience as its close to home, but I'd much rather drive a few clicks to go to Five Spice.
The prices are not unreasonable, but its take out fare is nothing special.
Good items include the Cantonese Chow Mein ( much better at 5 spice ).
Prices are $7 - 10 for each item.
Bad memories : I ordered a ginger beef and they served me up a few slices of beef with pickled ginger ( like I ordered sushi ). They attempted to make it spicy by adding some flavoring and I didn't even bother complaining.
Not only was the quantity poor, the poor attempt to make it taste like real ginger was an insult. They could have just said we have no ginger....
This was approximately four years ago and I haven't gone back since.
I challenge them to make another for me that tastes like ginger ( maybe with fresh ginger this time ).
Good memories : Their deluxe Wonton soup is excellent with large shrimp and pieces of bbq pork, as well as broccoli. Eats like a meal.
