For those of you that haven't been here in awhile, you might recognize this restaurant as Royal Buffet. The location is still the same, with the cute little bridge behind it. Royal Buffet was here for a long, long time - I remember eating here as a small child with my family, especially after Sunday mass. Well it's now called Golden Century Buffet! They've renovated the entire restaurant and menu, and offer takeout as well as the buffet. Eventually, they hope to offer delivery services as well. Though they still have the same phone number, and I believe owned by the same family, if you go to the old Royal Buffet website, it will redirect you to the new Golden Century Buffet website.
They now have a much more extensive menu than they used to, offering their most popular Cantonese and Szechuan dishes on their takeout menu, and even some Canadian fare at their buffet, all for very, very inexpensive prices. They still make really great almond cookies, too. They also have quite a large drink menu, with beer, wine, liquor, a whole load of cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. If you've ever been to Royal Buffet in the past, it's time to see the new restaurant and try out their new dishes as Golden Century Buffet!
