Review from Maheen M.
Golda's is your one stop shop for all your baking and kitchen needs. As a baker, they have an extensive section solely dedicated to baking related tools and products. My first trip I felt like I was in a kid in a candy store, I had to refrain from buying everything I saw.
Price wise it is on the high side but they do have some unique items. They are heavily Wilton focused on their kits and other products, so you can shop around at other stores if you would like a better price point.
Classes are average, again heavily Wilton focused. They are great for beginners who would like to get their feet wet in the world of cake decorating. I dislike having to bring all my tools and ingredients from home but they have an open concept teaching class. The cost for the courses are reasonable - $50 for 4 weeks of classes at 2.5 hours each.
Visit Golda's if you are in the Mississauga area! -

A place of kitchen/baking delight! This is the place to find all of your unique kitchen stuff. From the fancy-pants to the more common supplies. Not the cheapest of stores, but worth checking out. I try and make my way to this store as often as I can. Don't know what it is about Golda's, but I keep going back.
Oh, before I forget, they also have in-store baking classes. One day I'll try them. -

I have shopped on Golda's Kitchen online for years but had never visited the store. It is well stocked with le creuset and emile henry, counter-top appliances and seasonal kitchenwares as well as the largest selection of baking and cake decorating supplies that I have ever seen. The selection of cupcake liners alone rocked my little cupcake baking world. If you are serious about cake-decorating or baking this is the store for you.

I used to be a very good online customer of theirs since Quebec has a very limited selection of high quality kitchen and bakeware items until my last experience with them. I bought an electric juicer for my in-laws for Christmas and paid the extra $5 for "elegant gift wrapping". When I got the package I was appalled. A five year old could have done a better job with the gift wrapping (so naturally I needed to unwrap the gift to redo it) and when I opened the gift wrapping I noticed that whoever was supposed to wrap the gift, didn't bother to close the box properly. I contacted them with pictures of the item and it took them almost a week to reply to me even though I was calling every day to find out what was going on. I made it clear over the phone that all I wanted was to send it back and have the send me the exact same item in a closed box wrapped properly and I also requested that they contact me by phone instead of email. Finally after almost a week some guy writes me at exactly the end of the day on a Friday that they will refund me the $5 for gift wrapping but that was all. I am so disappointed with their lack of customer care that I will never give them another dime. I am also in the process of contacting krupps to make them aware of how their product is being distributed.
