It's that time of year--the time where the question of what to wear on Hallowe'en drives me straight to Glow Parties.
If you're experiencing the same predicament, visit Glow to see an impressive selection of new costumes for adults, kids, toddlers and pets. Choices include the traditional, zombies, witches and princesses to the more obscure such as Ghostbusters, fairies, etc. to the cute including cowboys and bumblebees. For me, I find it the widest and best organized selection of new costumes in the city.
While a full costume can be pricey ($35 and up), you can easily build your own from the wide range of accessories. The selection of wigs, swords, masks, and hats lets you easily assemble your own look. There is also an intriguing selection of footwear that reminded me of drag queen paraphernalia although it came in smaller sizes too--red sequined pumps, pink patent high heeled boots, and other attention getting platform shoes.
And the place isn't just about scaring the beejesuz out of people. There were lots of cool decorations for all occasions including an awesome selection of birthday party loot bag favours, loot for age-specific birthdays, and lots of princess stuff.
If you're planning a party, pop by this spot first for a one-stop shopping trip. The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions. They were quite helpful in assembling a couple of clown costumes.Listed in: 30 Day Yelp Challenge

Glow Parties usually tends to be my last-minute destination before events of pretty much any kind. Especially if there's a theme involved, I will inevitably end up strolling the aisles, laughing at a few really tacky things and going into shock over some of the prices. But without exception, I always find a couple things on my list that I'd never find elsewhere.
There are costume pieces to fill just about any need from 50s greasers to cowboys to sexy Santa's helpers - whether that's a good or a bad thing-and often decorations to match. The decorations are usually pretty low-budget looking (think plastic wall hanging decals of a saloon, for example), but could still work especially for kid's parties.
Prices? Well, they're high. But I'll pay 'em for the convenience of having a one-stop-shop rather than driving all over town.Listed in: Making Event Magic

Prepping for a themed party? No matter the season, Glow Parties has you covered. I've mostly gone for Halloween costumes and supplies, but this place has everything and, unlike many of those other "Halloween stores," will actually be here on November 1st.
Space? Jam-packed full of products.
Selection? Huge!
Staff? Helpful. -

Glow Parties has everything you'd ever need for a special event, with no project too big or too small. They have everything from your basic costumes, props and party decorations to large scale blow-ups & inflatables, rides, entertainers and more.
Costumes: They have a huge selection of costumes available for rental or purchase - whether it's for Halloween, Christmas, or other special occasion. They have lots of complete costumes, as well as a great variety of costume props and accessories, with a fair sized gap in costume prices depending on the selection.
Party Props: Glow sells everything from basic party supplies (for every occasion imaginable), to 8 foot wooden nutcrackers, extravagant balloon bouquets, party backgrounds, yard signs and even parade floats.
Entertainment: Glow offers a wide range of entertainment including mechanical bull-rides and rock-climbing, sumo wrestling, fireworks, carnival games and dunk tanks. They also cater to events with entertainers including face painters, hypnotists, magicians, clowns and DJs.

Glow Parties I think has one of everything. Many occasions I have entered this store looking for special decorations for a party or a functions that I was having or even just to get ideas.
Halloween I go ever year just to look at all the costumes and decorations that they have. It is always amazing to go and see what they did for decorations. From the outside showing goblins to walking into cobwebs and Jason standing at the door they have something for every kids no matter how old. Some of the costumes are pricey but if you pick something that you like and add to it each year then it is not so bad.
From balloons to banners check it out and make sure that each special day ex:. Christmas and Halloween you go and enjoy all the special things.
