I couldn't have been more pleased with my decision to stay at the Gloucester Square Inn during a recent visit to Toronto.
The inn itself comprises two beautifully restored historic houses; both private rooms and common areas are gracious and tastefully appointed. The location -- steps away from Toronto's gay village, a short walk from Yorkville's shops and museums, and a few blocks from a subway stop -- facilitates every stop on the out-of-town homosexual's pilgrimage to Ontario, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff will keep you on top of your logistical game.
If you're lucky, you'll also get to say hello to Patsy, the Gloucester Square's friendly feline mascot.
Far better value than a ho-hum corporate hotel. I'll happily stay here again.
