Group of us staying at a Hotel at Coal Harbour in Vancouver ordered pizza in one night. We ordered 6 Large from Gigi's. One with sausage and anchovies, a pineapple and back bacon, a Gigi's Royal, one with chicken and spinach and feta, a seafood themed pizza and a banana pepper and sausage.
We were pleased Gigi's delivered to the hotel and it took under an hour. The whole shebang came to just over $135.
The crust was thick and the cheese was greasy but that was what mostly everyone was in the mood for. The other observation everyone had was that a couple of hours later, and the next morning they were SO thirsty. Thus, they concluded the pizza was very salty. -

Okay. For the record, as far as the pizza goes, I LIKE Gigi's. They are one of the few late night places, but I happily order their pizza during regular business hours, too. I like the cheese because it's not too runny, the crust is nice and crunchy and the sauce isn't bland.
That being said, the prices have always irked me - $23 total for a plain cheese pizza? But I've been tolerant because I'll gladly support the local tasty late night snacks!
Today, however, I think I will no longer be ordering from them. My delivery driver not only demanded a tip (which I was going to give him, but hadn't even had the chance to put the pizza down) and then when I said "Keep the change. . " insisted that it "wasn't enough". He tried to bully me, saying he'd driven far and it is late and night. 1) It's a five minute drive. 2) IT'S YOUR JOB. Did I put you on the night shift? No, take that up with your boss.
I've rarely been so taken aback by service before and I am likely going to call tomorrow to let them know what this driver is doing and how poorly it represents the company. And for the record, I've worked shit service jobs before, and not once have I ever demanded a tip.
I really wish I could have taken the tip I gave him BACK. Jerk. -

This was my late night delivery option for Vancouver.
I have no idea how many times I have ordered from them. I always placed the order through http://yummyweb.com. It was very easy to order. Plus with http://yummyweb.com, you can save your favorite orders and that makes it super easy to reorder the same thing..
Delivery usually took between 45 minutes and an hour. Depending on where you live, delivery is either free or $2. The minimum order for delivery is $12. They deliver to 2:30 am on Weeknights and until 3:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
I pretty much always ordered:
Double Cheese Pizza
Cheese Bread
Chicken Strips
BBQ Ribs
Side of Mushrooms (if my girlfriend was there.)
Chocolate Mousse Cake (if I had a sweet tooth)
I really like their pizza. I thought there crust was great. The sauce was sweet. Everything else was pretty much middle of the road. It was consistent though. It always hit the spot. Plus, in the middle of the night, even average bbq ribs are better than no bbq ribs.Listed in: My Vancouver List

This place has been here as long as I can remember. I have been ordering from here off and on for over 20 years. I may have only dined IN once. Delivery is why I've used them and they're open til 3am, so that comes in handy the odd time...
I will not order from them anymore though! Over the years it's been off/on but it's now officially OFF!
I once paid $18 for roast lamb and I got 2 bites. Seriously, 2 bites. These 2 little lamb cubes were just sitting atop a horrible container of bland, overcooked rice pilaf. You can't even call it pilaf, it was plain rice that was fat & mushy from being old! Disgusting!
The place is really expensive for food that is so sub-par! We ordered a pizza last week. A large was $21 and it was disgusting! I should have stopped ordering from here when the roast lamb happened but it has been over a year since then so I thought I'd try again. Bad choice!
The dough was soggy and undercooked. The sauce was SOUR. There was shrimp on the Gigi's Royal, and they stunk to high heaven! We never ate it. When I called to complain they asked if I wanted a $10 credit on my next order? I declined! Delivery took an hour and 30 minutes and they're 3 & 1/2 K away from me.
Listen to my warning...do not lose/waste your hard earned money at this dump of an establishment! -

My gf was looking for 'steak & lobster', and unfortunately I do not know many places other than the Keg, and outside of the downtown area. I did a Google search and just put in 'steak & lobster' and it brought up this place. I have never been here in my life, and there was barely any reviews on this place, even the reviews here are dated, so might as well give a leap of faith to this place.
The place was practically empty at 7 PM, probably because everyone was making tracks to the fireworks on this night. We were greeted by the woman working there, and she was definately friendly and very talkative. My gf did order the t-bone steak and lobster, and we also ordered the wings, and the fish and chips. The food was not bad, a little pricey for what you are getting. I looked over the menu, and the pasta choices on the menu were around $10.
The woman said the busy time for them is later at night, as they are open right up to 2 AM, and up to 3 AM on the weekend. They also do delivery for the area. Now I know there is an alternative to Martini's, which is really close by. Also, if you do come here, just go down a block behind the restaurant, there is tons of parking around the park. -

Sometimes it feels so good to eat bad stuff. This pizza has thick crusts, tasty sauce, and delicious greasy cheese smothered all over it. Their physical shop is not a place where I like to spend a lot of time, it's kinda on the dirty side of things and service doesn't seem to be a big concern for them. But for delivery, bring it on.
I love some of their topping combinations, like Chicken, feta cheese and spinach or zucchini, feta and sun-dried tomatoes. Large pizzas are all under $20 and they're hearty. You can even get whole wheat crust. -

Pretty much exactly what I expected. Good food (not spectacular), big portions, good service at reasonable prices.
I ordered the lamb, my wife ordered a pizza. I tasted both and would say they were good solid 3's. I must have been hungry because the plate was piled high with pita, potato, greek salad and rice. You could barely even see the lamb, but it was buried in there, and there was a healthy portion of it; but i finished it all!
The service was wonderful. The waitress (maybe the owner?) was super nice. There was a delay with the pizza but she was super apologetic about it. She came by every few minutes to give us updates and even offered something "on the house" while we waited. Apparently whole wheat pizza takes longer to cook. I'm always impressed when something goes wrong and the restaurant handles the problem perfectly.
The decor is super dated and we were sitting next to a couple who was constantly fighting and bickering throughout their meal which took away from the enjoyment somewhat.
As they're in the neighbourhood this will increase the likelihood that we wil return, however if i lived far away i probably wouldn't make a special trip to visit. -

I first discovered this place when I was playing survivorman Vancouver.
I'm sure you are aware of the tv show survivorman, well this version was me here in Vancouver last winter not knowing anyone and I was sick as a dog. Forget swine flu, I think I had the purple speckled dodo bird flu because I felt like a truck had hit me. Armed only with a cell phone, the Internet and thank god cash, I was in no condition to cook let alone venture out into the world. So I googles delivery food Vancouver or something to that effect and gigi's came up. After not eating for three days and my appetite coming back, horse would have been tasty except I don't eat mans second best friend.
So I ring gigi's, they couldn't understand me at
first which was understandable because I am Aussie and my sickness made me sound like
gnarls Barkley the crocodile hunter. I ordered
steak, pasta and garlic bread, it took forty five
minutes to get here which I think was good
because it took me that long to navigate the
18 metres from the bedroom to the front door.
Looking back I should have been in hospital but hey, I can be a stubborn idiot at times.
It was a bit on the expensive side but I think
most delivery food in van is plus it was steak and as much as I love Canada, you guys pay way too much for good meat. I have had it
since and it's always been good at worst.
Their chocolate cake is bloody awesome.
It certainly did the trick that day as I munged out by the front door eating a meal fit for a king like a dog. It was a momentary feeling of victory as I managed to throw the rubbish straight in the kitchen bin sitting down from about 8 metres away. Highschool representitive basketball showing glimpses of it's former self, I then groaned as I started the long crawl back to the bedroom. -

Slow service, poor portions, overpriced. $18 for roasted lamb that was tough, and grey in colour. The side salad was paltry and the 2 wedges of potatoes were pathetic. The lamb looked like it was roasted the day before or two days before. The lamb was tough and overcooked. My mother-in-law ordered a seafood large salad as her main course. The salad consisted of mainly lettuce, 3 slices of tomatoes, 5 slices of carrots and 5 pieces of rubbery shrimp (not exaggerating, we counted). The pizza was mediocre. 40 minutes to bring out a large pizza, pre-roasted lamb and a salad. Will not be going back.

Nothing special stood out, but the portion sizes were decent.
