Gigio's is a wonderfull little restaurant . I was in Niagara for a convention and having tried the hotel breakfast on day one immediately set out to find a better place.
The Concierge at the hotel recommended G's and said " it is a local fave"...poetry to my ears. I was in Niagara for five breakfasts and had three of them at G's...including one of the free breakfasts included in the convention program ( thanks but no thanks a great breakfast I have to pay for beats a free bad breakfast every morning). I tried the standard bacon and eggs on my first visit as I like to try the basics on most first visits, the next day I tried the house recommendation " the Italian combo" eggs with italian sausage and toast made from italian bread....most excellent homemade sausage. The restaurant seems to be owned and operated by all family members...this is a good thing. My only complaint was the last day my eggs and my dining companions were both over cooked...I am sure they would have redone them but we were anxious to hit the road on our way out of town.
