Gift of Art represents 150 Canadian artisans from across the country and 25% from our hometown of London, Ontario, Canada. Everything we sell is handmade, including pottery, jewellery, blown glass, fused glass, wall art, metal work, greeting cards and handmade soap.
History
Established in 2001
Gift of Art was started by Brad Scrinko in the spring of 2001. As an artist, he realised that there were not a lot of places that were available to sell his work. The idea of having a retail store that sold gifts, home decor and artwork all handmade and Canadian made was born. Much of the work is made up of functional pieces that happen to be art; bowls, mugs, picture frames, serving trays, and vases - Things that we use every day. The rest are things that we enjoy visually and love to have around us; paintings, photography, and wall art of every description. It is well worth a trip to Richmond Row in London, Ontario or to www.giftofart.ca to see it for yourself first hand.
Meet the Business Owner: Brad S.
Brad Scrinko is the owner and operator of Gift of Art and www.giftofart.ca He is also one of the 150 artists that are represented at the store. His creations are called Twisters, which are hanging sculptures made of aluminum and glass.
