I showed up at George's and chatted with James, who seems to be the proprietor. Where is George? I don't know and I don't care, cause James is awesome.
I brought in an ICBC claim...the problem is, the claim is over two years old, so I couldn't use it. When James realized that, he commiserated with me. I figured I'd get the work done anyway, so we started talking price, which I was really hesitant about - I mean, body work can be very expensive. But get this, when I told him price was an issue he helpfully suggested ANOTHER shop down the street fora lower per-hour rate, if I wanted to go down that road! How often does a business send you to their competitor? I recalled what another yelp reviewer had said: that there are cheaper places, but George's does a superb job.
From there, I asked him to come out to the street and take a look anyway at my car anyway. He basically showed me how I could fix the problem myself with 20 bucks worth of parts from Canadian tire - it won't look pristine, but 80% better than it does now. Then, I asked him about some tiny rust spots on my car that had been worrying me, and he showed me how to clean them up and do preventative maintenance on them. All for free, cause he seemed to genuinely care.
This may be the only 5-star review I write for a product I didn't use - I'm currently in the process of fixing it myself, and saving a load of cash while learning something about body work.

Brought in my wife's 2010 BMW, after women tried pulling into a parking spot rather then parallel parking (dooouuuhhh). After a quick estimate, he emailed it to the offending party and emailed me a copy also. It was very efficient and fast. I initially had some concerns about getting my wife's bimmer's color right, but after seeing the results I have to say it was perfect!! He even had the car detailed for me (small fee). James is the owner and he is very passionate about his business and takes pride in it, you can clearly see that. He even drove me home and picked me up as I am just across the bridge (he will probably kill me now that everyone will ask him to do the same..lol), don't worry he had a courtesy car ready which I really didn't need for a few days anyways, but it was a nice option...
All in all it was a 5 Star experience all around!! Thank you James. -

Who the heck is George?? But I met a very cool owner called James that was totally helpful and strait forward... He gave me a price to fix my car and lived up to it.. it looks great and just like new..
I will be back for sure and recommend this shop to my friends.. Located used off the corner of 2nd ave & Crowe street close to ICBC centre. -

went here today to get an estimate for some body work I need. Although their estimate was a little higher than some of the other places I went to, the service was great. James is great to talk to and gave me some really good advice on how I could go about getting my car in good shape again. He also told me a cheap $20 fix for it - which I appreciated :)
Didn't get any work done here so I can't comment on that, but they seemed to have lots of thank you cards up on their walls, which makes it seem like they do a good job. But for service and estimates alone, this place is 4 stars !!! -

I always bring my car here for any body shop needs or when I've got an ICBC claim. Plus ICBC centre is just across the street.
The owner, James, is really friendly is always on the ball. I've been at other body shops and I've had to go BACK because they do a bad job, and when you own a leased vehicle the car company makes you pay for it on return. What a pain, plus its a waste of time.
James' work is the best you'll get, A+ service here.
