Although our gelato looked a bit hard, it tasted just creamy and delicious! Like Adam R. I think the hazelnut and pistachio combination is a winner.

Reasonably priced, warm service, lots of flavors. Try it!

Close to 3.5, or slightly more.

Lots of flavours, but not all are a hit. Some flavours are really tasting too artificial and not creamy enough. well, if you are in this part of Vancouver this is probably the best one around. staff is friendly. good price, really.

(bela gelateria remains better, but far from there, and much more "precious" in waiter's attitude)

We originally had trouble finding this place because the sign says it's called Gelarmony now.  Same sign design, different name, and thankfully the same gelato.

There are plenty of flavors to choose from.  They also offer soya gelato and sorbetto if you prefer that.  I was a little disappointed that they only let you try three flavors of gelato, but I guess that prevents people from standing there and trying every single flavor.

I got a scoop of nutella gelato and a scoop of the strawberry banana sorbetto, and both were wonderful.  For $3.75, it's a great deal!

Make sure you specify whether you want a waffle cone, regular cone, or cup when you order.

Hazelnut and pistachio - together they create my own private Elysium. She Who Must Be Obeyed usually orders green tea and black sesame seed (she has this sneaky method of ordering things she knows I won't eat so that she not only consumes her own but half of mine as well - just tasting it, my @$$!)

All flavours I've tried so far are great (except banana) and the mandarin and lemon sorbets are perfect when you feel like something a bit lighter. I'm dinging them a star for still being cash only. If you order together, 4 scoops in 1 cup, you save a wad of moolah. How many other ways can one be cheap and appear romantic?

When life throws you lemons, make some lemon gelato...or in my case - run straight to the dark chocolate and say "better make it a double."

I was so excited to see that one of the frozen case of goodies contained 1/2 sorbetto, 1/2 soy gelato; while the other had pure enjoyments of gelato flavours: nutella, strawberry cheesecake, green tea...and on, and on, and on. My hazelnut soy gelato was delicious - a little denser/harder than the regular gelato, but still bang on in flavour.

Every time I've been in, the store has been chaotic. When you place your order always remember to say "I'll have a cone/cup with [insert names here]"

Remember it's cash only - but for a double scoop (actually their smallest size) for $3.75, in a waffle cone or cup, it's a hard deal to beat!

The last time I was here (last week), my fifteen-minute wait in the queue was further delayed by a last moment of indecision: Bacio vs. Ferrero Rocher. Those extra moments of weakness cost my place in line. Someone--someone more prepared than I was--jumped at the chance to shout out her order.

Anyway, I ended up with the Ferrero Rocher. Those extra minutes were worth it to acquire the caramel swirls that the Bacio lacked.

This place is small, bright and always busy. Even in the dead of winter. Tourists, locals, shopgirls from the neighbouring boutiques.. everyone flocks here to get a bit of these smooth and rich taste sensations.

They also carry cakes, frozen yoghurt and have take-away packs full of gelato should you want to experience it in the privacy of your own home.

I'm a big fan of gelato so anytime I see it I have to get some. Went inside with the girlfriend- they guy behind the counter was generous enough to offer some free samples.

I ended up with the mixed berry and nutella combo and it was great! I noticed it took us a few minutes to order. I think giving people 2 options for a regular size order is cool, but it also adds to the wait time. There is so much selection you just don't know what you want! And you want to make sure you get two good tasting ones and maybe some new flavors you haven't had.

Girlfriend got pineapple and blueberry. That was a great combo, good fruity flavor but nice and healthy.

It is a little cramped in the store. My only complaint was there was no free wi-fi.

I don't understand the biology involved but girls have a separate stomach for dessert and sweets. They can be full and not be able to have another bite at dinner but 10 mins later as you stroll past Mondo Gelato suddenly they are dragging you inside. Don't ask how this work because you will only get an exacerbated "because it is just different!!!". "Obviously" I mumble under my breath trying to hide my veil of sarcasm.

Mondo Gelato is not the best I have had but is pretty damn good which is why I never protest too much. Whether it be a fruity sorbet st lye of the full brunt of the Oreo cheesecake there is something for everyone. Now all you have to do is wait for your lady friend to make up their mind....tic....toc....tic....toc

    hello 31 flavors of Gelato!
We walked in expecting maybe 10 flavors...this place had so many options I couldn't decide!  We actually went twice...in the same day...once at 5pm...then again at 9...it's THAT good.
Had the Ferrero Rocher which was AMAZING...the guava, passion fruit and mandarian orange was also very very good.  Didn't care to much for the mango...and the lychee was pretty damn delicious as well (i told you, I went twice in the same day!)
    Really worth going to!

This is truly a great gelato place!  So many flavors to choose from and they are all good.  Nutella, Ferrero Roche, Tiramisu, Guava, Dark Chocolate... are just a few of my favorites.  Just try anything and you will not disappoint.

Their smallest size is a 2-scoop on a cone or cup for $3.75.  It's common for a family of 4 to order two small (4 scoops) in cups so each can have their single scoop.  But I always order mine in a waffle cone.

Ok, this is a weird review because I actually love Mondo Gelato's gelato.  Super delish!  BUT I ordered ice cream cake from them and maybe growing up in the States I had different expectations which was that there would be CAKE in the ice cream cake.  Instead I got a block of dark chocolate gelato with frosting on it.  If I wanted that I would've just gotten a tub of dark chocolate ice cream and put frosting on it and called it good and spent a lot less.  So if you want ice cream cake with cake in it this is not the place to go.  But there's damn good gelato here.

Sure, there are a lot of different flavours, and I tried quite a few, but they all taste so similar and so watery bland. Prices are just insane, 3.75 for a small lil' cup of gelato probably worth less than 5 cents to make.  If you like your ice cream to taste like bland crushed ice, this place is for you. I have a feeling that they're cheaping out with their ingredients or just diluting it with extra water with added food colouring.

Although the service wasn't the greatest, I really enjoyed their guava and peach mango gelatos.  Yum!

Each time we go to Vancouver, this is one of our haunts. We will make two or three stops in here on our trip. Yummy gelato and better than anything we've found in Seattle. I always get the hazlenut or pistachio.
