I had dropped my computer at an odd angle. All of a sudden, my computer started running at a crawl. And due to the correlation of the dropping and the slow running computer, I knew the issue must have been hardware related.
Because I'm no expert with Laptop Hardware, I brought the computer to Geeks on Whyte. They have the tools and knowledge to assess what may be wrong with your hardware.
And my only problem happened to be with my hard-drive, which lost a significant amount of speed as a result of the drop..
Geeks on Whyte then recommended I pick up a new hard drive, which they then installed, and also set up windows for me.
While the new hard drive and the Geeks' service ended up costing me $100, that's better than buying a new laptop.
