I went to this place for a show a few months back. The show was in the smaller, intimate theatre with raised, almost stadium-type seating.
The seating was super comfortable, and the acoustics in the theatre were fantastic.
The second floor of the place was an art gallery with many works for sale, which were pretty cool. One other cool point - they sell chocolate covered almonds. Maybe that's only cool to me?
The quality of the show was pretty high as well, and for $30 or so per ticket, you're living well. -

Wow! Who knew a venue like this could produce such an admirable show! I was so pleased to be able to catch the last show of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" at the Gateway, it was such a great production! The cast was amazing, the talent was amazing and the musicians were wonderful! I enjoyed every moment of the show!!!! I also had the pleasure of seeing "My Fair Lady" a few years back and I still remember how impressed I was. :0
....I love bands, I love movies, and I love the opera.....but there's nothing like musical theatre with a good story line that can hold the audiences attention with performers who have to be good actors, singers and dancers!
I am a huge supporter of local talent and you don't have to be on Broadway to be a star!Listed in: Vancouver, BC!!!!
