Review from Roger A.
I saw this in the Metrotown and liked the price.
$1.69/100g of salad and sides.
Plus mango lemonade for 2.59.
Fresh and clean healthy salad and fruits. The more it weighs, the more you pay.
Again the price was good IMO.
The staff was very nice and it was self serve. -

Clean, fresh, healthy food in the midst of mall fast food.
Create your own vegetable / fruit salad(s) paid for by the weight.
Everything always looks fresh. For the benefit of mall and nearby office workers, they open a bit earlier than the mall.
There's a mix of fruit to choose from: watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, grapefruit, lychee, dragon fruit, mangoes, papaya and more...
The salad bar is just as well-stocked: baby spinach, Greek salad, tuna salad, boiled eggs, green beans, beets, broccoli, tomatoes, shredded carrots...
They even sell soup and salad rolls (chicken or shrimp), which are made fresh daily and made-to-order fresh fruit juices and smoothies (made with 2% milk). -

This stuff is great! I had stopped by the Metrotown food court to get something to drink. I had seen Garden Fresh, but have not actually bought something from it until now.
The firs thing I noticed was how clean it was. Especially since the fruit and vegetables are out in the open, everything looked very sanitary and fresh. I was also surprised how many combination of drinks you can make with the variety of fruits and vegetables they have fresh and on display. I had picked out a cucumber/apple combination and was surprised how not-too-sweet it was. It was great.
There are fresh salads that can be made according to your own tastes. It's a great choice for people who are health-conscious nowadays, and want something light rather than something heavy and greasy.
Yummm.. I think I'll try the watermelon/apple/celery combination next
