Review from Larry L.
I stumbled upon this joint after a late lunch attempt and decided this place should be good.
It was good. I even checked the reviews (after I ordered) and was happy that they fared well on Yelp.
Nothing is instant here, you order, they make it on the spot.
They also have some Filipino deserts which I found an interesting contrast to this place. It is primarily Middle Eastern food but I think the owners are Filipino. They do a bang up job and I'm planning to come back for another Falafel.
So, it's A OK! in my books! -

Found this place in a little corner of this strip mall, and wow was I ever impressed. It is a small place with cafe style seating and a few seats outside. The food is made to order, and the staff are so nice.
The falafel purchased was made to order with just the right amount of spice, perfectly made. The greek souvlaki combo was excellent, just like one of that you would find in a sit down expensive restaurant.
Impressed with the food quality and customer service, and the fact that everything is cooked in front of you is an added bonus.
UPDATE - 2012
Garden City Kabob Grill has new owners, and the place just isnt the same :( went back and the food does not taste as authentic. It is no longer owned by a middle eastern family it is now owned by an asian family, and the food does not have that special taste as before. The food is still cooked fresh and in front of you but it just lacks that authentic touch. -
Review from Vincci L.
Tucked away in the small mall at Garden City & Blundell, this place exceeded my expectations.
There's nothing fancy about this place, simple, plastic chairs, and a couple of small tables. Serving up a mix of Greek Food and Middle Eastern food, and everything is cooked to order.
I tried out the lamb falafel and shared a side plate of calamari.
The falafel was good, the pita lightly heated, with many pieces of lamb, and lots of fresh cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and tzatiki sauce. The calamari plate was a large portion, and it was very delicious. Light crispy batter, and the squid was cooked to the right tenderness.
I like this place because it's so close to my house, and I know that yummy falafels and calamari are minutes away!!!
