Review from D'Arcy L.

Last night with three work colleagues we were out for a stroll in Old Montreal when we came across this nice place. As we entered the place was empty and the individual working there mentioned they just had a 5 a 7 finish. Some groovy house music and a fantastic menu (not with a large selection of food) but an amazing looking selection of Champagne and girly drinks. We wanted some light appetizers so we ordered a dozen Colville Bay oysters. They came out on nice display on a bed of corse salt with two types of vinegar (light and a red). I tried a dab of the red vinegar on one oyster, it was nice but I thought masked the flavour of the true oyster that you go to eat! We also ordered the Deer Tartare which came out the size of a big red hockey puck but incredibly tasty!!! As well the Jalapeño peppers (which I was a little disappointed as it was one of the smallest appetizers I've seen in my life). It was very tasty just so small! With the light apps we ordered a bottle of the Albert Bichot Chablis 2009. It was a very nice light wine. this place is fairly expensive price-wise but excellent taste and presentation!
