Future Watch is an environmental charity specializing the support of youth, families and environmental concerns.
It is a great place if you want to volunteer (participating in events), or if you would like to make a donation (individual) or sponsor an event (business) to help the community.
Future Watch specifically offer:
- volunteer services for youth
- youth outdoor life skills courses, and team building
- organizing family nature walks and canoe trips
- offering family events such as fishing days and camping excursions
And more specifically in terms of the environment:
- implementation of community gardens
- tree/shrub/wildflower planting days
- creating awareness through education about the environment ("Greening Our Community" project at Toronto Community Housing - Unit 24).
It's a great organization with a friendly, driven team behind it and an excellent choice if you're looking to get involved in your community and/or environmental awareness.
