More like Confusion Hero.
We went to Fusion Hero on a Friday night, so I thought it would be wise to make reservations. It turns out that they were not needed. When we walked in at 8pm, the place was almost entirely empty. Not a good sign, I thought to myself.
The decor was very nice. There was a large water wall and pond at the entrance, and the lighting and furniture were all very modern. Though Fusion Hero was not very busy, the decor and ambience gave a good initial impression.
Friday night was martini night, which was a welcome respite from a busy week. Unfortunately the waitress was not able tell us what sort of martinis they had, so we had to guess at names until we came up with one they had (the classic gin martini is always a safe choice). My girlfriends apple martini was painfully sweet (she had to water it down to be able to drink it), and something about my gin martini was off, though I couldn't put my finger on exactly what was wrong.
The menu has lots of interesting sounding dishes, but there were no descriptions for any of them, which resulted in some confusion and several questions. I decided on the Thai Red Curry Chicken, and my girlfriend had the Pad Thai. Both were good, but not great.
All in all, Fusion Hero was ok, but not spectacular in any particular way. There is better Chinese food to be had in the city, though the decor might make it worth a visit.
