Great Chinese vegetarian restaurant run by a friendly family. Portions are not as massive as at the much more popular Buddha's just down the street, but the quality and variety of the food is much higher. Also, Full Moon is much less busy than Buddha's and the atmosphere is not nearly as dingy.
While at U of T I'd eat at Full Moon at least once a week. Haven't been here in awhile, so I can't recall exactly which dishes were best. I do remember a really tasty lemongrass flavoured soup and good spring rolls though. I'll have to return and write a review update.
Meat eaters would probably do better with some of the Chinese joints on Spadina, but this is a must try spot for vegetarians.Listed in: East Asian Favourites

Chinese vegetarian. They do a good job with mock meat but this place is overall average in taste.

Finally stopped in for a bite and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the tofu combo meal with rice which included a spring roll, salad and hot and sour soup...tons of food for less than $10. Everything was yummy and nicely presented but had to order a side of hot sauce for the tofu...tend to air on the side of spicy. Perused other patrons' dishes and they all seemed huge. Even saw some people with their own tupperware...guessing regulars. The decor is simple and service friendly. Likely be back for another try.
