It's been a while since I've visited you, oh dear shoe store. And I'm sorry. It's just that every time I visit, my credit card wants to run and hide from the abuse it's about to endure.
And me, well, I'm like an addict --when I'm in your presence, i can't get enough. And here - with your, what, 2 entrances--and abundance of little wedges in the summer (which are all too easy to just try on for fun) and your sexy boots in the winter - you're most of the reason why my closet door won't close and why I have to store you under my bed. -

I was less than impressed with the service I got here, maybe I wasn't looking wealthy enough or something, but was looking for some good boots.
Was brushed off for a bit and was a bit thrown off before I finally got some half-assed service so it was hard to be nice to them when they made me feel bad about myself.
And really, I dropped $400 after tax on boots there so was really hoping for a nice time as that's almost my most expensive pair to date.
But in the end I love love love my boots and will, after trying everywhere else first (like across the road) I won't hesitate to go back for more amazing shoes and bad service. -

Leatha, baby, leatha. You can smell it when you walk into this spacious shoe store.
Most of the styles are pretty generic: the kind of sensible shoes your Mom would be happy you purchased. But there are a few surprises scattered in with these.
If you're on the hunt for practical footwear, this is probably a good spot to check out. Slip-resistant soles abound, as do tags like water-resistant. I witnessed a bit of a spat when I was here between a manager/supervisor and staff about where one of the shoes belongs. That was entertaining, albeit unprofessional.
Quite a few items were on sale when I stopped in. What gal or gent can resist shoes on sale? -

I love this little place. It always has a great collection of new shoes and sale shoes for men and women. They carry everything from Hugo Boss to Perry Ellis and more. They have great sales that you can see as you're walking past the store. If you ask for Ashraf, you'll get the best service. He knows his shoes! I've seen shoes on sale at Freedman that were $50 more at another place. Before you buy, go check them out.

Freedman's is the kind of shoe store that carries something for everyone, without really specializing in one shoe niche or another. They have quite a full selection of both men's and women's footwear, and carry a range of recognizable brands like Kenneth Cole, Vianni Collection and Hugo Boss. What is here is not exactly edgy, but the shoes are stylish and there are often worthwhile sales and promotions.
