Best pizza I have had in HRM. Seriously.
This is old school pizza, the floury-doughy-hand-tossed crust. So delish. Prices are fabulous as well. I spent the better part of 3.5 years in Dartmouth and I was a regular customer. The owners are lovely people.
I even have a scar on my thumb from their pizza, by proxy anyways. My ex's dog jumped onto my chair when i was eating a slice and he snatched it away, my thumb was in the midst of the tussle - et voila! -

At first glance, it doesn't look like much and you may want to drive right past - but don't!! You would be missing out on one of the best pizzas you will ever try. Fred's is a family owned shop in Woodside that has great service, great prices, and delicious pizza. Fred slow cooks his pizzas in a propane oven and they are always cooked to perfection. The dough is crispy on the bottom and light and airy in the middle. Covered in delicious fresh toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. My mouth waters just thinking about it!! The garlic fingers are second to none. And trust me, I have tried a lot of garlic fingers. Fred's, I can say, is my new favorite pizza place. A great location, friendly service, and free delivery! What more is there?

This is a place to go for a good donair in Dartmouth. Their 3 lg donairs for 14.99 deal is a great deal and their donair plates are amazing. Haven't had their pizza so I can't comment on that.
