After reading Crystal H's review I knew where to take the picture that got knocked off the wall by a teenager at home. It came from Indonesia and I really hoped to salvage the cracked wooden frame and of course, replace the glass.
The guys in here know what they're doing! They said it wasn't an easy fix but the total with new glass was under $40 so I was happy. When we were in there we spotted a cool vintage photo of Granville St from the archives. It was nicely framed and the hubby bought it for me for Valentine's. For $150 it was affordable and looks great in our living room. Happy to support this local business.Listed in: My Kitsilano

I'm a procrastinator - and when my beautiful water colour painting of a landscape from way, way, way up north had collected 2 years worth of dust in its plastic cover, I decided it was time to get it framed.
Hesitant to go anywhere because of my fear of exuberant prices, I timidly tested the Framing and Art Centre. Thank goodness I did!
The service was stellar! I was allowed to keep making adjustments to what I thought I wanted, all with a smile, and an understanding from someone who has obviously seen many people come in for a one time framing request.
The sales girl, whose name I wish I asked for, took a lot of time helping me choose the frame and the glass (even persuading me away from the ridiculously priced art museum glass that I thought was pretty --and a few hundred dollars!)
I left feeling really great about my purchase, and I'm excited to pick up the finished product next weekend ...stay tuned!
They take air miles too - yes - I can finally afford that trip to Abbotsford I've been saving up for! -

The Framing and Art Centre is the definitive place to deal with all of your art and framing needs, outside of actually painting a picture yourself. They provide custom framing options, art sales along with a website catalogue of all of the works they have for sale, as well as restorative photo services and photo to canvas transfers. The Framing and Art Centre also takes care of gift items like ceramic vases and sculptures, along with providing your commercial business with art to jazz up the office.
