A few ladies at my office chose to have an office birthday thing here simply because its one of the closest, cheapest places to have a group gathering in the area near our building.

We had the entire right wing of the building sectioned off for our use, and it was a very comfortable, casual setting- perfect for this kind of event.  We only had one waitress, and while a couple others popped in and out to help her, she did the job great! I was expecting mass chaos, but she did surprisingly well.  In the middle of the evening we sang Happy Birthday, and the staff at F&H happily brought at the birthday cakes we brought with the perfect timing to surprise the birthday boys.

I didn't want to hang there all night, so I squeaked out with just one  peice of cake and one margarita- but overall, a good time was had by all, and it was a perfect location for what we needed.

So not being from Dallas it is very difficult to watch your favorite NFL team without DirectTv.  Luckily there is Fox and Hound.

I like a lot of room to move around, good food, good drinks, and good tvs.  This place is a little dated but it serves the purpose.  They have so may tvs in various rooms, you are sure to find your favorite team on tv.  The food is typical bar food, I only tried the wings, they were good but not great.  The beer was cold!

The service is a tad bit slow on Sunday, but not overly excessive.

I would come back here if I am in the area.

When you have to walk up to the waitress or wave your hand to get greeted and helped... it's a problem.

When no one ever walks through the door... it's a problem.

The best thing about this place? There was this cool guy with chains dancing to an N'Sync song. I wanted to dance with him... but I was intimidated by his groove.

Also, you can play darts or pool. But good luck with the pool- it was hogged all night by unfriendly peeps.

I'll never come back- unless to film a movie where a nice girl gets into trouble at an empty pub and grille.

I've come to this location several times with a group of my friends, and we've always had a pretty decent time. The first time we came here, I was REALLY surprised that we didn't get thrown out - one of my friends got really drunk and rowdy, and tried to fight one of my other friends. We ended up with a few broken glasses at our table, and our table was moved several feet from him trying to knock it over while we all had drinks on it. Our server was really tolerant though, and we got our friend out of there lol

Since that night, we've been back a few more times without our little troublemaker friend, and it's been good times. I agree with Tricia O about the pool tables - good luck getting one. They're usually being hogged by hipsters and DBs (I won't define that one... if you know, you know lol) who babysit the tables all night and you won't be able to get a game in. The music they play is basically pop music, but it's mostly somewhat lesser-known songs by big artists, so it's not too annoying. I've looked a couple times for a jukebox, but I'm not sure if there is one.

The best part about Fox And Hound is the beer selection (thank you, Fat Tire!). They're also about to start selling Bitburger, which I hardly ever see anywhere. The drinks aren't ridiculously priced, and the cocktails aren't too too skimpy on the booze - they pretty much fall right in the middle. The food isn't bad, either.

The last time we went, I think we had the best service I've had ANYWHERE in years. I even wrote a little note on my check to our server: "Thanks, Drew! You're the best!" lol He really was. All in all, not my favorite drinking spot, but my definite go-to one when I'm in that particular area.

Our waitress had to check on drink prices and specials because she had no clue! She was attentive though and checked on us often. I asked the manager about live trivia that was being shown in the buzztime trivia screen for Tuesday nights at the Skillman location and he said they didn't have it there!!! I said "then maybe you should remove it from the screen!!!" DUH!!! You could tell he couldn't have cared less!!! I've noticed that the wait staff and the managers aren't very knowledgeable about what's going on every time I've been here.

I go here about once a week and usually get the fish and chips.  It's a pleasant atmosphere with many TV sets everywhere.  The TV sets could REALLY do with an upgrade though.  Most are the old projection TV sets that are somewhat blurred at best.  We also play darts there once in awhile which is fun.

Tuesday night is $2 pints - all pints - and half-priced apps after 10:00pm. The Tuesday I went it was D-E-A-D so you got all the service and attention (and pool tables) you may ever want. Smokers have to go outside. Just don't leave anything visible in your car and don't lollygag back to your car. The Skillman/Audelia neighborhood is kinda sketchy.

Like this place for a Tuesday night outing.  Great Beer Fresh on Tap!  Food is alright for a bar.  Cheese Fries are really good not a fan of the new improved beer-batter chicken strips, but karaoke makes up for replacing my original chicken.  It is alot of fun to get drunk and watch/sing.  The DJ is fun as well.  Overall Great Place for the weekday, but have not been on a weekend.
