My first trip up to the BC North!
I was in Prince George on business earlier this week and was pleasantly surprised how mild it was! Lots of sun but the air is very dry compared to Vancouver - my hair was a staticky mess!
This was a good hotel choice in the area, particularly if you collect Starwood points. Convenient location off the highway but their parking lot is pretty small and it's hard to find a spot if you come in late at night.
Check-in was smooth and the hotel is nice and clean and pretty modern. Definitely no space shortage here... I was in a 2 bedroom suite with TONS of space. No issues with the room (OK beds, flat screen TVs in both of the bedrooms and living room, mini-fridge available) or toiletries. Free wi-fi available.
The only minor problem was the bathrooms and second bedroom were all locked when I arrived... apparently they have these cheap locks that often get jammed so you need to push them in with a pen's ink cartridge to get them open again... love the high tech solution :)
All in all, a decent place to spend the nights if you're in PG.
