Review from John P.
This hotel is all about location. It is close enough to downtown, but you can still get good rates. It is close to the interstate, so you can get to your meetings and the airport as well. And it has plenty of great places to walk to from the hotel - best buy, subway, boston, etc.
The hotel was under construction while I stayed there, which made it a little messy, but you could tell they went out of the way to make up for it.
The room was great, nice and quiet. Very spacious and clean. All new flat panel tvs, etc.
It has a great hotel bar with plenty of local beers. While I was staying there was a large wedding party as well so I didn't get to check out the italian restaurant on-site, but it appeared to be quite popular. -

I had a meeting today at 9:15am in London (our team is meeting about 7:30am for breakfast). It's a two hour drive. Rather than having to be on the road at 5:30am (I'm sooooooo not a morning person!), we decided to head down last night.
We stayed at the Sheraton. We ended up in suites ... only $135 a night! Sweet! It is big and spacious ... nothing fancy. The toilet is really low and you have the hold the handle down for a long long time for it to flush.
There is no charge for parking or WIFI (it was slow, though). They have renovations going on ... the reception is currently in a doorway and there is no lobby. They expect it to be finished in the spring.
I had skipped supper and got to the hotel about 8:30. I was hungry so had supper in the lounge in the hotel, Bentley's. Tuscany, the restaurant, provides the food. There wasn't a huge selection on the menu and what there was was on the fancy side. I ordered the pork chop and potatoes and had them hold the asparagus in a funky sauce. It was okay, not great.
The lounge was okay. It tried to be warm and cozy but failed ... literally. There was a cold wind coming in and they had portable heaters scattered around. -

Seems like a really nice hotel, but they were in the middle of construction so I didn't get to really experience it all too much.
Stayed here 3 nights over a weekend. The room had 2 TV's and 2 sinks. The living area was larger than I would have expected, which is a plus.
The bar near the check-in desk was rather nice too. They had a nice selection of local beers and other Canadian beers. I love it when you go to an unfamiliar place and get to experience the local craft brews.!
Overall OK experience and I would stay there again, just hope the construction will be done by that time. -

Boo hoo. My room was motel-ish like, air-conditioning kept cutting out, every second light bulb was burnt out and the coffee maker didn't even have a stir-stick or pack of sugar. Usually I stay in the suite or tower portion of the hotel which seems like a world away from this regular room. Surroundings were quiet though and I had a good sleep in the magnificent Sheraton Sleeper Bed. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to include a social hub and business centre. Upgrade to a suite if you can.
