Keith: what a passionate guy. You know the boss is passionate abt his work when he takes the time to sit down and chit chat about what he does for a living. Kudos to him!
Four Lounge is a nice, cozy, laid back neighborhood hangout hotspot sans the pretentiousness that Uptown often exemplify . I came here with a couple of friends after work and missed the Yelp Ladies' Night event but barely made it in time before closing and I'm glad!
We ordered all three of the Yelp drinks and they were all amazing. Each one had a flavor in its own and catered to each of our pallets. Great choices!
I would definitely come again and thank goodness I don't live next door or else I'll become an alchy! (Nothing wrong w/being alchies) Cheers! -

This place is hilarious.
I want to submit it to Kitchen Nightmares because it is exactly the kind of place that would do well after a makeover on that show: a privately owned venture that probably had a decent start until the owner's ideas exceded what he could actually execute and business slowed, causing it to become a sad, tired version of itself.
Ouch. That was mean. But I'm being serious; this place has issues.
The menu has way too many items on it. As a result, the service is slowed to a glacial pace. Many of the items are terrible ideas, and even those that aren't are not well executed. The decor is shabby and ill-fitting (imagine a janky hookah lounge with three TVs, two of which are showing sports and the third, fashion shows on loop). And, adding insult to injury, prices are up there (not ridiculously high per se, but ridiculously high considering what you're getting).
I found myself looking around thinking, Seriously? WTH is going on here? Is no one else noticing how bizarre and crappy this place is? Apparently not, judging by the reviews here on yelp.
Basically, the place feels like the owners have given up, which is a shame because with a little makeover of the menu, the decor, and the execution, the basic idea wouldn't be bad. -
Review from Jodi G.
I finally made it in to 4 lounge after talking about going for about a year!
Facility/Decor:
The sitting areas are quite cute. I wish it was just a tad larger, but I don't think it needs to be. I've been twice and it was never packed, but these were both weekdays. There's a mirror against the wall which makes the place feel larger than it is. They have a patio with heaters, which is nice. Keith, the owner, interacts w/his customers with his husky voice. That's awesome. You don't see that too often anymore. There is one unisex bathroom near the bar, but it's clean! There is a TV inside and one outside.
Drinks:
I like how much effort Keith puts into his drinks. The specialty martinis are very heavy/rich and extravagent or super sugary. I made a point to try different types of drinks (not just specialty Martinis) to get a good sense of their offerings and give a fair review. Keith's menu is constantly changing as he tries new things and doesn't do well with a stale menu. ;-)
Martinis:
The base of numbers 3-4 taste the same to me.
1. Cotton Candy - It tastes like what it is - melted cotton candy, not strong but super sweet. Can you say SUGAR RUSH?! :-P He came to our table and melted the exceedingly high pile of cotton candy into the martini glass by pouring the drink base over it.
2. Strawberry S'more - Wow, that's a really rich fun choice! He actually garnishes it with a freshly made s'more.
3. Captain Crunch - Another fun choice which transported me back to my childhood. I believe the martini glass is coated in honey to allow the cap'n crunch crumbles to stick to the glass...not served with a spoon as described in the menu though.
4. Ginger Creme Brulee - NOT the best choice for me. I love love love creme brulee, so this was my first choice. I wasn't sure about the ginger aspect and thought it would have a hint of ginger. Nope! It had actual small chunks of ginger. A bit much for this non-ginger loving gal. What I liked is how he actually used a torch to make the creme brulee garnish! As Oprah would say, Fabuuuulooooouuus!
Other drinks:
1. Pineapple Doli - basically pineapple infused vodka...YUMMO. I want more! This is a drink they make in a large glass vat of sorts and serve as is.
2. Cherry Bourbon Cola - Hello luva luva! I don't remember the actual name of this one, but it was one of my faves! I'm a bourbon lover!
Price:
Most drinks range from $9-$12 a pop.
When to go:
Anyway, this makes a great date spot for drinks or after dinner drinks and is also great for girls' night out! Check out their website to see specials such as Ladies' Night (free champagne!) and Date Night (basically buy one get one!)...both are on weekdays though. Even though there is a TV inside and one outside, I don't think this is the best spot for game watching. -

The Rosemary Bee's Knees deserves a glowing 5 star all on its own. The fresh, distinct flavors of the Rosemary shine through, but don't override the tart Lemon hues that underline the tasty, fragrant flavors. I was able to enjoy this summer-inspired craft cocktail in the winter and still enjoyed just as much as I would in July. Man, now I can't wait for the summer to sip on these all day long on their adorable, quaint patio (complete with flat screens and trendy pillows that brings some comfort the outdoor space).
Good job, Keith - for creating an adorable space that exudes cozy comfort, yet with an flare of sophistication. Four Lounge is one-of-a-kind and there is a part of me that wishes a place like this is never emulated, however imitation is the best form of flattery. The cocktail menu is dense and your eyes light up after you read one creative cocktail after another. -

Carrollton, TX
I have never been much of a cocktail kind of guy, but The Four Lounge has made me a believer. I am not usually a fan of fruity, sweet drinks or cocktails. I usually just go for whiskey something. I have been here 3 or so times and have been very impressed every time. Each time we come in, Keith is at the door or walking around making sure that everyone is enjoying themselves. He and Ben work behind the bar nonstop mixing gels, burning wood, and making outlandish cocktails.
My latest experience was with the Smoked Raspberry Chipotle Old Fashioned. Wow. It was sweet at first but had a serious spicy burn afterward, which is a very strange sensation when drinking a cocktail. I also had the opportunity to try the Strawberry S'More Martini, which had chocolate and graham crackers around the rim and a big toasted marshmellow floating in the middle.
The Cotton Candy martini is made with a huge chunk of real cotton candy and is incredibly sweet. It tastes like liquid cotton candy.
Also try the cupcake or red velvet cake martinis, which are creamy and full of crumbs. Drinking food is a bit weird, but the flavor is well worth the strange sensation.
This is not the place to come if you want standard, boring bar drinks. Be adventurous! Obviously drinks are going to cost a bit more here, so at least try something crazy. And yes, if any sound too silly for a man to order, I probably just tried them. -
Review from Miguel R.
What a cool place. It's small. I mean, SMALL. I walked in, after reading the reviews on here - and at first was a little thrown off. Nobody behind the bar, some guy sitting down was like "sit anywhere" - and there was only like 10 people in the whole place. Turns out that the guy was the bar tender, just chatting with the guests.....
I looked at the drink menu, and it's not your typical "bar" menu. Martini's - and Mixers that I"ve never heard of. Where is my Crown and coke, my patron on the rocks.... Nay. The bar tender insisted on something less traditional - and boy was he right. Nothing crazy, just a fruit passion mojito.
Well time passed, and the rounds kept coming, and that time to leave came - so I asked for the bill. Went up to the bar to sign the tab, and that's when the fun actually began!!
Turns out Keith (the bar tender) is actually the owner. And what he was doing when I first walked in was a demonstration of what sets his place apart from everyone else downtown!!
Smoked Whiskey!?! Cotton Candy?!?! Hand made syrups?!?! You have to experience this yourself.
JUST GO. NOW. -

Houston, TX
Coming off of a beatdown at the RRS and State Fair (from both the Sooners and the sun), we were looking for a chill place to kick back and relax in the buzzy Uptown area.
I pull out my trendy Yelp app and scour the area for lounges. Up pops Four Lounge. "Girl's night out" as one of the top three search terms?!? I'm so there. To be fair, we had a few females in the group, and I figured this would provide the ambiance our group was looking for.
Mission accomplished on that front. As Pitbull would request, we had a real good time.
The venue is ridiculously small. There's about 6 "roundtable" seating areas available, and a few two-seater sections for dates and such. Luckily, we arrived earlier in the night around 10-ish, and snagged the booth area indoors.
The plush decor is perfect for relaxing, and the DJ spinning (look up, or you'll miss him) played an audio-perfect mix of top 40 and 80's overlaid by some house beats. Well played, sir.
The drink menu is the calling card here, and it's a doozy. Paging Dr. Mixologist in full force. There's something for everyone. For example, my friend, the cherry coke lover, picked up a cherrywood smoke-infused whiskey-coke, a real winner in his book. I was a fan of the Pimm's Cup, a must-try for me at places after I had my first Pimm's Cup, a downright doozy, at NOLA in New Orleans. The Pimm's was good (infused with ginger beer), but as good as NOLA it was not.
So here's the but. The drink menu is spectacular, buuuuut.... the actual drink preparation is crazy hit or miss. I picked up a handful of Pimm's Cups (I'll decline to say how many), and each one tasted different, with a clear lack of consistency. This was mirrored in my group's other drinks as well, and the taste wasn't always there. For example, the bloody mary tasted like pure salsa. It would have been good with tortilla chips, but not as a stand-alone sipper.
Compounding the issue was the hit-or-miss service. With such a small venue, there's but one waitress, and she started the night off strong but fell short when the place got packed past midnight. As for ordering at the bar, well, the artiste up there has better things to do than take your order. Oh sure, you can try, but expect the evil eye the shine your way.
The place completely shut down at about one. We were the last party to hang around, and there were some furtive glances by the staff to see when we were dodging out of there. Then, as we were on the way out, a group stepped in and asked if they were open. "Oh sure," they said. Just ignore the put up chairs and lack of small tables, please.
In summary, if you're looking for a lounge-type of night with a beyond interesting drink menu, Four Lounge is your spot.Listed in: Dallas: Big D

Wow! This place is TINY...probably the size of my living room. However, the decor is very charming and we had fun. When we walked in, my boyfriend and I ended up sharing a little table with two other girls which was a little akward. When another table left, we grabbed it because two of my friends were meeting up with us. Due to the fact that they were driving around for 30 minutes looking for parking, we had to fend off quite a few people who wanted to sit with us...it's that tiny. Even the manager/bartender came over and asked if people could join us...I had to explain that my friends were here, but couldn't find a parking spot or a valet anywhere!
As for the drinks, they are pricy, but yummy for the most part. Expect to pay over $10/drink. I had a lavendar toast (not enough lavendar in my opinion, only tasted the champagne), the cupcake martini (I didn't like the pieces of cake mixed in the alcohol), and the cotton candy martini (so yummy - you have to try it). -
Review from Shae W.
Had such a great time here for a bachelorette party. The bartender made their cotton candy martini by pouring the alcohol over actual cotton candy, which was neat. Their pink lemonade martini was delicious.
The owner was great- he personally showed us how he smokes bourbon with black cherries. Not a bourbon fan but it was pretty awesome. -

We hit this place up on a Friday night for a Girl's Night. The martini selection is endless.
Get here early. Small is an understatement. There's some seating outside but not much.
The cotton candy martini was good. The skittles one was amazing! -

Absolutely loved this place. My friend and I went the other night after she yelped it on her phone and we saw the tag for the cotton candy martini (which is a must have!) and were sold. Keith is very personable and was able to suggest the right drink according to your tastes. The place is a little small, but he is expanding soon and will have sooo much more room. Parking isn't great, but not his fault. This place is a must go if you like cocktails. I can't wait until we can go back and try more.

Went here after dinner on a girl's night out and had a lot of fun!
Great place to take a group for cocktails before you go out or after dinner. It's small, but in a good cozy way.
One of my friends got the cotton candy martini, it was sweet but surprisingly not too sugary and syrupy. Plus the bartender came out with the martini glass loaded with actual cotton candy and then poured the liquor over it, so the theatrics were fun.
I ordered the captain crunch martini, and sadly, do not recommend it. It was really pretty at first but then the whip cream got all melty and the concoction underneath was a syrupy (STRONG) butterscotch-like mess. I did lick off the crushed captain crunch around the rim though. Don't judge me, I never claimed class.
Another girl got the red velvet martini, but I had to head out and didn;t get a chance to taste that one.
There are also simpler drinks: lavender infused champagne (want to try!) and regular martinis as well as a wine list I believe.
Stop by, it's an adventure and a good time. -

I heart Four Lounge. The owner is so nice and knows what he is doing. He likes to tell his guests about his drinks in detail and I can appreciate that. I recently moved a couple blocks from the lounge so I have been twice and the drinks are delicious. They have great cocktails like the red velvet martini and cotton candy martini. I can't wait to go back and try all of the other awesome "bakery style" drinks. Def a place I will be bringing visitors!

This place is so much smaller than I imagined it to be. However, the bartender knows what he is doing. They have a plethora of drinks to choice from, include unique drinks like Whoopie Pie Martini or Cupcake Martini. There are only two seats at the bar but there are couches to sit on and there is an outside patio enclosed by plastic keeping in the heat. The place is very nice, just small.

Mmmmm, drinks here were amazing! The owner is super friendly, and will make you anything you want! He also usually lets you try other drinks if you're interested.
The atmosphere is trendy and cozy. I would go here with a small group of friends as the place is quite small. Also - call in advance on weeknights..sometimes there are private parties.

Keith does it right!!! He's a mixology genius! Every drink I had was amazingly good! I have never experienced such greatness in a martini before!. I can't wait to return and try more. The place is small inside but he's added a patio that makes the place seem twice as big (and it has a rockin heater!). This is a destination spot that no martini lover should overlook! Parking is bad in the area (not the bar's fault) so be prepared to search and search for one-or better yet, take a cab! GREAT JOB KEITH!

Through the magical powers of Facebook, my husband and I discovered Four Lounge, where we met "Molecular Mixologist" Keith.
Four isn't a bar, it's a lounge. But it's not one of those hoity toity, gotta be seen types of places. It's more of a tiny you'd-walk-right-past-it-if-you-didn't-know-it-was -there type of lounges.
And they specialize in awesome mixed drinks.
For example, the Cotton Candy Martini, homemade cotton candy stacked high, and then dissolved with a crisp, icy martini.
It made me feel like a kid again, only a really sophisticated kid (after all, it made my tongue blue). The final sip tasted like the circus, only without the unfortunate scent of elephant dung and sad lions in your nostrils.
They had plenty more to offer for the savory tooth as well as the sweet tooth (although I hear the cupcake martini is to die for).
Husband had an applewood smoked bacon Old Fashioned. His opinion? "It's perfect balance of whisky, honey, and meat." How Ron Swanson son of him.
Anyway, if you're looking for a chill place to drink something chilly, check out the Four Lounge in Uptown. The price is right (most drinks are around $10, and they're worth it for the show alone), and the atmosphere is laid back. Tell them Yummy Awesome sent you. -

We arrived early and took over a spot on the patio. The interior is quite small, but the extra space outside is a great idea! Keith, the owner and drink spinner is awesome. Very personable and helpful... in fact our drink service was better when it was just him and not the waitress.
I had about 10 people in my group and everyone was excited about the drinks. I was drinking champagne, but he talked me into trying some of his mixes. The lavender in champagne got some excitement at the table. The roasted red pepper in champagne was interesting... but the fan favorite was the tomato basil in champagne. Girrly looking drinks of plue, pink and coral dressed the table. Even the boys drinking beer (beer? Can you imagine beer at this place?) liked the mixes. Many many drinks were had at the table and only one martini was so stiff the guys chest hair fell out.
Some mighty tasty beverages to be had. Laid back, interesting mix of people... fun to be had by all. Parking can be testy... go early.Listed in: Buzzzed

Trendy little lounges with trendy little girly drinks don't usually catch my eye, but my girl Tara L. recommended this place for a girls' night out and she always picks the best spots. I took a look at their drink menu online and the words "lavendar-infused champagne" lit up my eyes.
We came on an "off" night (due to the St. Patty's Day Parade)--which was still cool because it wasn't crowded. We got to chat with Keith who gave us a quick run-down of his menu and passion for mixology, but all I could think about was the champagne. I didn't even look at the menu, I knew what I wanted.
If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for the bubbly. You also know that lavendar is my favorite scent, but not necessarily my favorite flavor because too much lavendar can taste a bit soapy. But holy shiznitz, I found my new favorite drink! Every sip makes me fall in love.Listed in: Wild Nights with Maxine

Right after my less than stellar experience here, Keith contacted me to invite me back to see the actual inside of Four Lounge! Needless to say I was super excited and impressed.
We arrived at 8:30 and there was a large group outside on the patio having a party but that did not distract us at all from having a good time inside. Their dancing skills were superb.
We tried various concoctions and I can say I liked them all. There were some standouts out though: the cotton candy mojito, the captain crunch, and the lavender.
Keith was great too. He sat down with us to show us how he makes the red velvet cupcake martini with REAL WHOOPIE PIES FROM SOCIETY BAKERY!!!! What I like even more is that Keith changes the menu every couple of months (keeping the staples....don't worry!) and adding even better brews.
Keith is my new best friend.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Not having a huge sweet tooth, I was a little dubious about Four Lounge. Well, that was dumb, since this place has something interesting to offer everybody. I was lucky enough to tag along with Sarah A. and Allison K. for a tasting with the owner Keith. I loved the layout of the place--The high ceilings and lush seating around the periphery of the room worked really well, making a small venue seems spacious AND allowing room for a dance floor, which they need given the awesome mashups being played here.
More importantly, the drinks were stellar. The red bell pepper champaign was my favorite, and I also really liked the dill gin martini (although I was in the minority on that one) and the lavender-honey champaign. The dessert cocktails (cupcake, whoopie pie, cotton candy, Captain Crunch) are definitely worth trying, but expect for them to be more filling than eating an actual dessert (since, well, he uses actual desserts + liquor to make them). Surprisingly, the cotton candy martini was the least-sweet of the bunch (and so my fav), although the Captain Crunch wins for most inventive. Even if you're tentative when it comes sweet drinks like I am, check out Four Lounge--between the ever-changing menu and Keith's recommendations, you're sure to find something uniquely awesome. -

Four Lounge, you won me over. The first time I attempted to go was with Sarah A. and we were turned away because of a private party, after trying to call and verify if they were open. Sarah A. was not happy, and wrote a review about it, but our new friend Keith more than made up for it!
Keith (the owner and mastermind behind the whole endeavor) invited us back to show us what the place is all about, and I am very impressed. He really takes alcoholic drinks to the next level. I'm going to list out the drinks we tried so you can get an idea of how intense this menu is (and we didn't even try all of it!)
-Cotton candy martini
-Cap'n Crunch martini
-Dill and cucumber martini
-Cupcake martini
-Red velvet martini
-Blueberry infused champagne
-Red bell pepper infused champagne (I don't even like red bell peppers, but it worked!)
-Lavender infused champagne (possibly my favorite drink in the world)
-Apple cinnamon infused champagne
Keith unveils a new menu every few months or so, and with an already extensive array of drinks there will always be something new to try! Also, they're no more expensive than your usual high-end drinks, despite being so innovative.
This is an excellent place for anyone looking for a special venue for a private party. The music was even unique-- he mashed up totally random songs that oddly worked together (my favorite: the Andy Griffith theme with "Single Ladies"). Had I not been under the weather, I probably would have busted a move or two. -
Review from Bryn B.
Great place to go with the girls for some unique cocktails! Cupcake and Vodka? Yes, please! The literally have a cupcake in a martini glass and make it a yummy cocktail. They have all types of exotic cocktails. Like cotton candy martini and just about anything! Keith, the owner, informed me that Bravo featured their drink menu on a show. Is it 5:00 yet? I'm ready for happy hour here!

This place as pretty accurate reviews, I went there the other weekend and it's a pretty cool place. The bar is extremely small one of the smallest bars I've been to in Dallas. The menu is extensive and very original.
Pros - Really cool drinks I had a caption crunch drink which was really good at first but after a few sips it got old. My friends said they got better drinks. They had cotton candy, popcorn, and dessert drinks which I believe are their specialties. The owner/mixologist was really cool, friendly, and great and what he does.
Cons - I don't see myself going to this bar again just for a random weekend, the drinks are hit or miss and it sucks if you get a bad drink and pay $12-15 for it. Very small bar not a lot of place to stand and you always feel like you're in the way. You can sit outside if the weather is nice but when we went it was pretty cold.
I'll definitely come back when I have out of town friends and want to impress them with cool drinks. Hopefully by then I'll know whats good and whats bad. -

We went here to start the night for my bachelorette party. The staff and the owner were extremely friendly and helpful (they took pictures of our group for us and were really entertaining.) The drinks were fun and tasty ( a little more than you'd ordinarily want to spend but they are specialty and unique.) It's pretty tiny inside, so space is a concern.

Review from Shanna L.
Um, what? How has this place been around "a few years" and no one knows about it?? Thank God for yelp, I can't imagine life without knowing about cupcake martinis and cotton candy mojitos.
Seriously a cool place, that reminds me of something you'd find in NY or LA - a small space, very cool but not overdone. GREAT place to come for after dinner drinks or pre party for girls' night! The menu is pages and pages of specialty cocktails, champagne galore!
The guy who owns it knows a lot about cocktail making, and says he changes the menu every season, so you can always try something new. He makes the cocktails tableside, with unique ingredients (yes, REAL cotton candy!!) so it's kinda fun to try several different things. Just be careful, just because they are pretty, doesn't mean they are "girly" drinks. Those martinis can put you on your ass if you're not careful! Nothing like tasting bits of real cake in your martini, and licking the whipped cream off the top, right before you hit the floor! :)
Can't wait to go back, and have been telling all my friends, again - how does NO ONE know about this place??
PS I will warn you, along with being tasty, the drinks are expensive (but totally worth it) so expect to pay $12-15 per drink - also, they only have one bathroom, that's unisex, that also opens up right to the bar - so be sure to lock the door!!Listed in: Date Night, Yelp Recommended, ladies who lunch

Oh Keith, what an awesome mixologist/proprietor/genius you are! How you make me giddy with the thought of your Red Velvet Cupcake Martini with Whooooopie pie. I was in a little bit of heaven there when I slowly took my first sip. D.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s.
I had a girls night out during St. Paddy's Day weekend. It was nice that the night was slow because we got to talk to Keith, who told us a little bit of how he does his mixes and truly showed us how passionate he is about this science. Each of us girls tried and shared a different drink - Red Velvet Cupcake Martini, Cupcake Martini, Lavender-infused Champagne, Strawberry Champagne, Honey-infused drink........and a couple more. They were all truly delicious. So glad to find this trendy little heaven of a place! -

As promised here is my review of Four Lounge and Ladies' night!
I started off thinking that this was a bigger place so I drove by it twice. I was actually really happy when I walked up to discover that it was a little hole in the wall (which I personally believe these places are the best anyway). The place is great! Soft lighting, pillows, comfortable seating and even a little patio if you want to venture outside.
I had no idea that the ingredients were as fresh as I had heard! I could actually smell the mint when I walked in. I first decided to start light and ordered a champagne with the homemade blackberry syrup. Wow that was great and refreshing for a hot summer night. I decided to next go a little sweeter. I might as well since I was enjoying chocolate covered strawberries. I ordered the cupcake martini. Wow this was so sweet but very strong. It came complete with whip cream and sprinkles on the top.
I also want to compliment Keith on a exceptional performance. He was not only mixing the best drinks I've had in awhile, but he also took care of his customers. The table next to me was celebrating something and he came to the table and mixed her a drink right there. He also was going to various tables asking if everything was satisfactory (which omg it was)!!! You are defiantly a true mix master!!!
I am coming back next week and will most certainly bring more friends! You get the gold star in my book for wowing me for the week! -

Although I prefer a beer to crazy cocktail combinations, girls really like this spot for the unique drink combos. Keith, the owner, is great. He mixes all of the drinks in front of you, and if you're not happy with the one your ordered, he'll make them until you're satisfied. This is one of the rare places where the owner takes pride in the establishment.
Overall: great atmosphere, great drinks, excellent service, perfect location. -
Review from Tricia O.
What a groovy, Euro-style lounge.
Reasons why you should check out Four Lounge:
1. Super friendly staff
2. Keith makes all the syrups/flavors himself so they are all super fresh/creative
3. There are so many options. You can mix any of his flavors into champagne or a mixed drink. I had the blueberry champagne, the jalapeno-esque champagne, and the lemongrass-ginger margaritatini. The spicy champagne was really amazing. I never would have expected the flavors of jalapenos to mix so well with bubbly.
4. Awesome ambiance/decor. Add pillows to beaded chandeliers to oversized chairs/cushions and you have a very sexy, comfortable atmosphere
5. Really creative place! Very unique and intimate
6. Ladies' Night on Thursdays- free champagne from 9-12 :) Yay! Perks for being a female!
7. Nice music selection- we had some light techno-ish music and some salsa while we were in there
8. Romantic- great spot for a date!
9. Fresh flowers on every table! Love is in the air!
Cons-
1. Just a little pricey- most drinks are between 10-20 bucks but they are strong! You get your money's worth!
2. And it's pretty small so if you have a large group, it might be too crowded on a weekend!
I'll definitely come back. It'd be a great place to be a regular :) -

Four Lounge is the epitome of the specialty cocktail-- they have flavor combinations here that I have never seen anywhere else in the country! Stuff like cotton candy martini, cupcake martini, lavender, basil, etc. All of the drinks are made with fresh fruits and herbs or flavor sauces homemade by the mixologist/general manager, Keith, and you can tell by the way it tastes. Drink prices may seem high but they are the same as all the other good bars in uptown, except it's actually a better value here because none of the flavors are made with artificial ingredients.
Aside from the delicious crazy drinks, the atmosphere is also the epitome of "lounge". I love the low-light Moroccan decor and padded, cloth-covered walls. I want this for my bedroom one day! It's a very small bar but that makes it the perfect place for a date or a small party of friends.
I also like that the owner is there every night- actually making drinks- and talking with all of the patrons. It's a really nice personal touch, like Cheers but much much classier.
My favorite thing to do here is to go on Thursday nights because it's ladies night with free champagne all night and it's only $2 to add a flavor sauce shot. Plus they usually have free cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries. Whether you want a girls night out or guys want a cheap date, you just can't beat that deal! -

This is a great place to go if you want an unusual drink. Don't go here for the ambience. It is a tiny hole in the wall, and there is nothing to do except sit and drink and talk. What makes this worth the trip are the amazing drink creations. If the mixologist here had a real bar in an upscale setting, he would make a fortune. Cotton candy mojito is amazing.

This place is so awesome! You walk in and it's very small, but decorated so nice. There is an outside patio though where there is more seating. I had their signature Doli martini and it was delicious. My friends ordered the pink lemonade martini and the cotton candy martini and they were very tasty. This is definitley a great place to go on a date for drinks or to start a fun girls night out. I am looking foward to trying more drinks on the menu soon!

This is such a great find! I brought about 8 of my nearest and dearest here for drinks on Saturday night and had such a fantastic time! The interior is small but delightfully decorated, making for a really intimate feel. I came early to stake out a table in anticipation of a crowd, but the owner and bartender were happy to reserve a whole section for me so I didn't have to worry. The bartender, Ben, was super attentive and really knowledgeable. He kept his cool even when things got busy. As if all of this were not enough, the drinks here are AMAZING! I tried a few of their signature martinis as well as the mango-habenero infused champagne, which was delicious and made my lips tingle. Overall, this is one of the best experiences I've had in Uptown, and will definitely be returning.

Great place to take out-of-town guests. I know this personally, being said guest. Cool little lounge that you might miss if you weren't looking for it. The lounge is small and it might behoove you to arrive early enough to snag a couch (or a seat outside on the patio, if weather permits). On the left, there are swanky high-backed couches and tables. On the right, there is nothing but a mirrored wall. They probably could have added some seating on the right side, but perhaps this place gets packed on the weekends and they wanted to account for standing room?
At any rate, Four Lounge has a little bit of a New York feel to it, including some of the drink prices. The lavender infused champagne was $18...wow! But my friend loved it, so all was good. The drink menu can be a little overwhelming...it's a good idea to think about what your taste buds are asking for prior to looking (Sweet? Savory? Salty? Something that will put hair on your chest?). The smoked bourbon was enjoyed by my friend's husband. He opted to stay away from the girly-girl drinks and he looked quite content with his choice. I tried the cupcake martini, which was literally a martini with muddled vanilla cupcake added to it, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. It was sweet and it was STRONG! I love a stiff drink so it suited me well. I also tried the cotton candy martini and loved the bravado that came along with it. The owner stood on the couch next to me and poured the ice-cold martini over a martini glass heaping with blue cotton candy. It made me want to clap and jump around. Suggestion - be sure to stir it a couple of times to ensure that everything marries nicely before taking your first sip.
With drink mixology being all the rage, this is a really nice place to try. These are specialty drinks that you're not going to concoct at home, no matter how many times you tell yourself that you are. Muddling cupcake at home and adding it to your martini just wouldn't offer the same effect. It's more fun to go out for drinks anyway! -

Great little bar lounge in the State Thomas neighborhood of Uptown. The owner was there to greet all the patrons and check on their drinks. They've recently added a small patio area so this will make for some great people watching the fall when it finally dips below 100.

It's always a pleasure to see the excitement and wow on my friends faces when I take them to this very welcoming lounge located in uptown. I don't drink but I still find myself sipping on non alcoholic delight. A destination spot for myself and a top recommendation when asked " where to go for a good cocktail". Very Impressive!

My friend and I stumbled upon this place last Thursday through mumblings of some guy at another bar we were enjoying, so we decided to head on over with the promise of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries... We got more than we bargained for. Keith, the bar mixer extrodinairre, was just fantastic. I had the cotton candy mojito (vodka and I had a nasty breakup one night in college) and it was so outstanding. My friend had the cupcake martini which was equally great (albeit, strong!). Keith really takes pride in his work and makes choosing a drink fun. This little place is a great place to go for a date or on a girls night out to try the different concoctions.
Very fun! Only problem is that I wish they had one here in Hawaii!
IT'S A DON'T MISS!
