After researching a ton before getting my 2nd set of new tread I rested on the Goodyear Tripletread Assurance tires.
There's not too many places that carry them in the city and so I went seeking out all the shops that did. I visited each one and for some reason tire shop customer service is just generally horrendous.
My previous set was also from Fountain Tire albeit the Burnaby location and it was a mediocre experience.
Upon coming to this one, I was greeted immediately and after telling them the tire I was interested in the sales guy got super excited and started telling me about all the real world benefits that weren't mentioned in any technical data available online.
He's been in the business for over 25 years and it really showed and although they didn't have it at that location (they shipped in from Edmonton) he made me happy by under-promising and over-delivering.
He said I'd get it within a week and voila he called me up 2 days later saying it had arrived. Quick installation and free flat repairs/tire rotation really seals the deal as well.
