I recently had my car towed and they punctured one of my tires. Bastards! What do I do now? Lucky they are run-flat tires so I could still drive for a while on them. The con is that run-flats are NOT cheap can can cost $250-$350 to replace.
I dropped off my car to Fountain Tire and went grocery shopping. They called me back after a few minutes and told me some great news. The puncture was fixable so I didn't need to replace a whole tire. They ended up fixing the tire for around $75 and I picked up my car within 1 1/2 hours. Very pleased with their efficiency and service! -

I will start by saying that I have not and will not go to a tire shop to have work done on my car beyond tire work so the review before mine does not come into play in my review.
I have now purchased two different sets of winter tires at this location. I first purchased a set of 4 tires for my old car and was very happy with their performance. They were amazing tires that gripped in the snow and ice amazingly. These were the brand that they recommended and they were not the most expensive (good sign). For my new car I went back to them as I had a good experience the last time. This time I already had two snow tires that came with my car so I needed to pick up two more (a lot of stores will not allow this as they will require you to buy 4 snow tires unless you have two of the exact same brand and model). There was no problem only getting two new ones and installing them on the front of the car. They also mounted and balanced my other tires for a very good price.
Like I said this is a great place to purchase tires or have your tires installed on your car. I would not recommend them do other work after reading other reviews. -

Go here if you want your money stolen. I'll try to make this story short.
- Went in to get my transmission fixed after paying an arm and a leg to get a rebuilt transmission, I get it back after a week and drive about 5km before the new transmission breaks in heavy traffic.
- I get it towed back to the shop and they charge me for the tow truck and the extra work to fix the transmission that they should have got right in the first place
- 9 months later my transmission fully fails on me again except now I've moved to a new city. I phone them up for the warranty and they explain I need to take it into a local transmission shop and have it shipped to them. I do this which costs me $500 to have it ripped out only to have Fountain Tire tell me it's not under warranty anymore and now I'm stuck with another $500 bill.
All this time these guys contradicted themselves and lied to me about what they would do for me. My final advice, beware the friendly stranger as they will greet you with a smile then gladly take your money and laugh at you when you are gone.
