Review from Sarah O.
Holy moly, what a find! Divine Portuguese rolls and excellent selection of cookies and pastry. The best part? Dirt cheap prices for high-quality stuff. Some of the best walnut shortbread cookie I've ever had. Everything here is so good!

Ooooh lookey here!
A review by Sarah O ( http://www.yelp.ca/use... ) that pretty much sums up what I was going to write. And then there`s Reena M`s review too! Nice detail! Reena is super.
Unfortunately I couldn`t eat any of that stuff, but did manage to squeek in a cream filled horn and that brought memories of this place back to life.
I used to work in this area and remember this place being there back then?
For some reason, I remember them making sandwhiches of the ham and cheese variety with mustard and mayo and warmed so the cheese was all melty.
That was a 5 star memory.
But I didn't go for that 5 star memory. I went for something sweeter as my blood sugar was a bit low and this would do the trick.
Cream filled pasty horn. Yummmmy.
And the Portuguese rolls will go well with the sausages I bought earlier.
And still, the old world charm is there.

The best baguette I found in greater Vancouver area. You will also find freshly baked buns and bread. They also have a great choice yummy treats. Chocolate loaf is a must have. On weekends, I go from Yaletown to Burnaby just for this place.

Amazing bakery for buns and yummy desserts! They also have a nice selection of Portuguese beverages (Sumol) which are kinda pricey but nice for a treat. They actually have pretty good sandwich meat which is very reasonably priced. Some are around $1 for 100 grams which is much cheaper than Safeway which is always so expensive. Their buns are to die for. I always end up eating them all in a couple of days only! Love this place!

The best place to pick up some fresh portuguese buns! They're so soft in the inside but perfectly crusty on the outside. A cute little portuguese bakery, but I am not sure they have those little portuguese sweets like in Portugal. They do make an awesome round loaf of a kind of sweet bread which tastes great with nutella. They also had some delicious portuguese chorizos during Hats Off Day. They make cakes etc.
