Love this shoppe; although, I admittedly cannot afford to splurge there as often as I'd like. One of my favorite pairs of boots (of which I still receive countless compliments on) by the brand Fly London, were purchased from Footloose on Fort well over 5 years ago. The boots still look fabulous and wear as comfortable as running shoes. My assumption is that most of the products carried by Footloose is of of a similar standard - you are getting what you pay for. So, with all things considered (a pair of boots that have outlasted 5 -7 years of Victoria rain and still look fantabulous) I would rate Footloose as offering great value.

Footloose may not be overpriced by Canadian standards. On the flipside I'm Canadian and I think they can be. If I didn't do most of my shoe shopping south of the border perhaps I would think otherwise.
Admittedly they do have a unique selection of shoes, some of them being quite stunning. I do go in for the occasional browse and one time it paid off. The beautiful purple Birkys I'd been eying for far too many months were on sale over 50% off and the one pair left was my size. Fate? I think so!
I'll continue to peruse Footloose for the occasional steal, but for the most part I'll treat my tootsies to my Seattle splurges. -

I had great service when I went here; the sales ladies weren't pushy, but were attentive. They were really knowledgeable about their rubber boots, and made a note of the ones that were made in Canada and of excellent quality.
They were happy to hold my purchase (pre-payment) while I shopped around, and remembered me as soon as I returned. All in all, a great little shop with excellent selection. -

A shoe store to die for. Camper and El Natralista are my favourite brands here. Fun, comfortable fashion finds with a focus on high quality and sustainability. Most are at list price and often a little below. Great sales especially in January.
