I gotta give some mad love to Foosh! It's a big, very nice-looking store smack dab in the middle of Whyte Avenue. A perfect stop on a sunny day of shopping halfway up the stretch!
Unlike many stores on Whyte, this shop houses fashions for both ladies and guys. I really like the ladies fashions in here. Foosh carries brands like Gentle Fawn, which I love. Plus, the prices are pretty reasonable.
It's a big, open store, too. I like having space when I'm browsing through racks. Definite points.
In addition to clothing, Foosh has shoes and kitschy (in a good way) toys, like the Munny dolls.
One of my favourite stores on Whyte, for sure!Listed in: Four-Stars, Whyte Avenue Shopping Spree

I must be blind because I didn't see their CD's anywhere. Unless it was in the room slightly off to the side ... I thought that was their storage ...
Well, looking at the clothes was enough fun for me. They have really cute stuff here from brands like Bench, Gentle Fawn, and Kidrobot. I really liked the women's jackets they had here; they were casual and sporty, but still cute and feminine (not too girly). I also fell in love with a cute handbag, but not with its price, unfortunately.
There are clothes and accessories for both guys and gals here, and everything is a sporty/casual and modern chic style. Nothing is preppy or frilly. They also have an entire front section of shoes, with brands like Nike and Lacoste; most of them are sneakers, or flats for women.
I don't know how I was able to miss their audio section ... guess that means I'll be going back! I just hope I don't cave in and buy another jacket ... they're cool but out of my price range here. -

While on Whyte, Foosh is always a stop that has to be made. I mostly enjoy going to look at their selection of shoes, but their clothing selection is great as well. Foosh is definitely around mid- range for pricing, totally depending on how much you enjoy spending on clothes. I mean if you dabble in Value Village all the time Foosh will be outrageous, but for the quality and brands you get it is fairly priced. There are many unique brands here and the staff is almost always knowledgeable about the clothing. Being a more robust girl, I usually always ask if X is true to its size, and they can either help me find my size or suggest another brand/store where I can find something similar ! If you happen to make it to one of Foosh's awesome sales, make sure you get there early because it'll probably be shopped out of the best goodies before you get there!

I like Foosh mainly for their shoes.. or sneakers as the kids call them.
The shoes here aren't like any other place, they are unique. The Styles really vary from your every high tops to old school Chuck Taylors. They have brands that you could get anywhere but not the styles. They got everything from funky to simple.
Foosh also carries clothing, similar to the shoes they are not things you would find just anywhere. This is definitely and original store worth checking out when you are shopping on Whyte. -

I just got back from Chicago and searched all around the city to find a kid robot shirt....it was nowhere to be found. So, I come home and sure enough Foosh has the exact shirt I was looking for! It wasn't even too ridiculously overpriced.
It seems that Foosh has some really original clothing as well as a music/DJ/record store in the back. I didn't spend too much time checking the music stuff out but the clothing they had was definitely one of a kind. If it wasn't for the hipster staff I would have given it 5 stars, but I just have this issue with hipsters that I can't really explain. With that being said, I will definitely be a repeat customer! -

Great locally owned and operated store on whyte. They carry lots of unique brands- great selection of shoes, jeans and some neat toys. The store itself is very nice, cool atmosphere and very helpful staff.

Foosh Audio & Apparel is clean and cool. The merchandise here is very spread out and displayed on light hardwood floors. I've seen some of the coolest sneakers here--I wouldn't mind getting myself a pair.
I do like the clothes here. Most of them are very casual or sporty. I found some nice fall coats too. Nothing here is plain and dull--everything is cool, hip, and trendy... oh, and expensive.
This is a great place if you're into DJing, because Foosh sells DJ audio equipment and also a wide assortment of vinyl in the newest techno and electro beats.
I also saw some imported Japanese items, like cute-character zipper pulls. I also spotted stuffed Domokun characters here in three different sizes! I'm seeing these every where now, and I'm afraid that it's a sign that masturbating really does kill kittens. -

These guys are really original - I like it!
Foosh has a great selection of stuff from clothes and shoes to accessories and toys.
If you're looking for something new and fresh, you should definitely check out Foosh because they have a culture and a style all to themselves. It's really fun to look through all of their stuff and fall in love with unique pieces that I never thought I would see myself in!
Unfortunately, with beauty comes sacrifice. Some of the stuff at Foosh can get pricey. I don't often like to spend a lot of money on clothes but how can you put a price on originality?!
Shoes Shoes Shoes! If you need some new kicks, this is place to go.
Check it out! -

This place is great. To sum it up, it's one of the only places I know of in the city that has such a high quality selection of kicks, clothing, and vinyl toys.
For kicks, they have brands like A-life, The hundreds, Nike (yes you can get nike elsewhere, but not these kinda styles) and more. If your into kick culture, most likely you've already bought some here.
For clothes they got brands like Kidrobot, Crooks and Castles, The Hundreds, LRG, Bench, and a bunch more. They're constantly getting new stuff in, so if you like any of these brands, check frequently.
For toys, they are the only place I found in the city that has this selection of art toys. Kidrobot, Medicom, Gloomy Bear.. a nice selection of some rarities that will be rather hard to find anywhere else.
As for the audio section, I haven't spent much time in that part of the store. If I see a vinyl or something there that I like I'll grab it, but beyond that I have my preference of music shops and online shops I get that stuff from. But I like that they do have it at least.. It's one more place in Edmonton that brings in new vinyl, so I got nothing but good to say to people about that.
Overall I love that Edmonton has a store like this. The only thing that rivals it in my opinion is online shopping (risky with sizes), and I only say that cause, the price here can be kind of steep for some items. Most of the time the prices are pretty true, especially for Tee's where you'd pay the same price with shipping if you bought online, but would'nt have the luxury of trying them on first. But there are a few items, especially hoodies and jackets, that I noticed are really marked up (for example I saw a 155$ hoodie and 225$ jacket, where I checked that brands online store and they had it for 85$ and 132$) so it's one of those thing. Your in Edmonton, you gotta be consumer savvy wherever you go. Their mark ups are'nt nearly as bad as most other places that sell these styles, and I've only saw it on the rare item.
One thing to mention. Big and tall guys, your gonna have a hard time here. No XXL, and it's hard up to find a size 13 shoe. If your 14 like me you got no chance, dont even bother. No XXL kinda does'nt sit too well with me, especially cause with a lot of this style, people like to wear big, so I'm not sure it's so smart to not include that.
All in all, if you like this style and it's in your budget, your probably already shopping there. I'd recommend everyone go in and take a look around. -

I feel like Foosh is a real staple in the Whyte Ave area. They have been around forever and are kinda like an all around corner store for cool stuff. They sell tickets to shows (mostly DJ type), toys, clothes, watches and shoes...so many shoes. Most of their clothing brands seem to be smaller or more independent which is nice because if you buy something there it is original and you probably wont run into somebody wearing the same thing as you. For such a hip place- you would think their staff would be snotty or pushy, but they are not. There is also a full record store in the back which also has CDs for all your music needs.
