Grace at Shops on Steeles cut my hair today and was amazing. She did a great job and really is someone you should check out the next time you need a haircut.
She is pleasant and will engage you in conversation. You hardly realize the time before it before it is all over.
Make an appointment with Grace. You wont regret it. Tell her Jim sent you -

Had my hair cut twice by Bruno (the owner). The first time I went in (with an appointment), I took a picture of what I wanted (a classic men's short cut) and was assured that was no problem: "I've been doing that cut for 30 years." As 'chair #1', Bruno seemed a little distracted with walk-in customers and phone calls. The resulting cut was just good - close to what I have asked for, except that he used those thinning scissors which I hate. The second time I went (again with an appointment), he again seemed distracted, the cut wasn't as good as the first time and he used the thinning scissors after being asked not to. I won't be returning.

I walked in and got a haircut there by Carlo. He did a very good job, he was playing with the scissors like a pro and ended up with a nice haircut the first time around.
