We stopped in here briefly on our SantaCon tour of Richmond. It was a bit father away from the Skytrain than I expected but it was quite a delete to sit down and have a beer.

The staff were super friendly, and considering a group of 50 just randomly showed up the service was chipper and speedy.

I had a Strongbow which was priced a lot better than they typically are in Vancouver which I appreciated.

The place was big and quite when we got there but it was a lovely place to stop in!

A place for young drunk fools.

Sticky floors, nasty bathrooms, uncouth manners. I had to stare down half a dozen fools in there, and I am not tall at all.

I will say, after a few drinks the place is less disgusting.

I did have fun the few times I went with my friends and fam.

I wont frequent because I am a gentleman and would easily break some fools for being A-holes.

This place is definitely a travelers pub. That makes the atmosphere a little lighter and I like it. There are alot of Americans and Europeans that frequent this place when they are in town for business or what not. They tend to liven the place up quite a bit.

The size is way too small for how busy this place gets on the weekends. The band is normally so loud that the bartender's probably appreciate hand signals when ordering drinks. It is way to small for the volume of the band. Its also pretty funny when people try to dance in the small space they have for it.

The bouncers outside are friendly and don't seem to overuse their power. I haven't seen too many people kicked out of here, but, then again when do I pay attention to things like that! Overall the staff is friendly and nice...

The food is great. The prices are a little high. You could easily go to a nicer restaurant if you wanted to pay that much. But, the menu is good and worth it if you are in dire need of a tasty treat.

We just went in for pints of beer. We were a big group and they only had a couple of staff on but they were great! The pitcher of beer was only $16. The staff smiled sweetly as they served everyone quickly. They even came and took group pictures of us outside. Granted we were all dressed like Santa so it was a bit of a novelty but they handled the large group very well.

I went to the Foggy Dew with a friend last week and I have to say that it lacked the entertainment that I need to have a good pub experience. I went during a band night. The band was all right, but it was way too small inside and the sound pounded into me like an enema under duress. They do have a name that tune there that is fun. I'm not sure what night it was on, but it is good.
They have an Irish whiskey New York Steak that is awesome. I didn't realize how much I LOVE IRISH WHISKEY. They have a real Irish feel to their place. The assistant manager Alan is a nice guy who travels the room asking if things are okay. He does it in a kind manner that doesn't irritate you.
If they were to get some more entertainment, more interactive, it would make it a lot more fun.

I've been three times. Once the service was amazing, friendly and curious, the food was decent, that was at lunch.

However the afterwork serving staff has issues. Plain and simple they were rude and slow, and i would actually say aggressive. They have lost my business for good. I can say with confidence that the last two times I was there the service was on the top of my list for worst of all time.

A recent layover in YVR and the pilots decide to take the flight attendants to what they dubbed the 'funnest pub' in BC... away we walked.. outside there are big bouncers carding us... This place was nuts...But nuts in a fun way...Very pubby... Canucks galore... and the staff, unlike Scottsdale, wasnt allowing too much drunk freaky behavior to go on without bouncing someone... Friendly staff.. Irish whiskey was a treat... (even though I never have!) bc they figured out we were crew... and comp'd us.. and Irish beer... its a fun place... but maybe not MY type of place... kind of small..not enough tables.... and the bathrooms werent clean...

This is becoming our regular watering hole post volleyball at the Oval.  The food is always decent - salmon burger, burger, etc.  The drinks are reasonable and the service is friendly and fast.

Used to be my watering hole years ago....been back a few times since moving to the states. Whenever in town I drop by and love the staff, food and beer.Tried mostly everything on the menu. This time tried the Braised lamb shanks....they tasted like the ones you get from Costco for half the price, but it was nice to sit there and watch a hockey game, sip beer and mingle with everyone. Parking sucks. Used to be free , now they have a machine out behind the hotel. all in all , its a great place to eat and drink. Ill be back foggy Dew!
