Review from Larry L.
I remember when they opened up Flying Wedge Pizza downtown. Wow. cool whole wheat crust and awesome toppings. Designer healthy pizza. Very cool concept. Now they've expanded accross the lower mainland and the Richmond locaions still seem to do pretty well.
They're not the gooey cheesy pizza's you get at Mama's or the New Elite style like Steveston Pizza. It's kinda in between. Still better than Panago's and the Huts. I can't stand those places anymore.
So keep on Flying, Wedge Pizza! -
Review from Katie F.
I'm partial to Steveston Pizza when I'm splurging on pizza, but had heard good things about this place at similar prices, so we ordered take-out from here to check it out.
Honestly, I would take Steveston Pizza any day over Flying Wedge. They both use unique ingredients, but I'm not a fan of the cheese and the herbed crust takes away from the toppings. Hubby picked out the Texas Pull with the pulled pork and I went the Hawaiian. The pulled pork pizza was quite tasty, but I didn't like the topping:cheese:crust ratios on the Hawaiian one and the herbs in the crust overpowered the pizza for me.
The website is great though!
