Esquimalt has a place for brunch on weekends!

Floyds moved on to downtown and in it's place the Sunnyside Cafe has been for quite awhile. Really pleasant people run this and make really good breakfasts and lunches using what looks like a lot less than your average kitchen. Despite the lack of a fancy kitchen food is served pretty quickly.

Bennies look good. Bagel and lox is a good serving for price. Waffles are good. Soups a treat.

If you live somewhere else in Victoria- stay away- go to your own local place. This is all we got and there are not that many tables.

Now called Sunnyside Cafe, this restaurant/cafe is a sweet little breakfast and lunch place.
Fresh, constantly changing specials. During the week this is always a soup and a sandwich combo. On the weekend the special is a benny of some sort.

The two owners (Lisa and Lisa) and their staff are really nice and work hard to keep  the place flowing. The food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable.

A real gem in the heart of old Esquimalt.
