Floc Boutique is the newest addition to the urban shopping district on 124 Street and Jasper Avenue. They cater to the style of the urban working woman, carrying items from professional business attire to formal evening wear.
Everything is exquisite and beautiful, and it's also reflected in the price. If I were the average customer there though (i.e. a more mature woman with an established career), I suppose I would be able to afford it.
They also carry jewelry, shoes, bags, and accessories like belts and hosiery. You'll be able to put together a whole outfit or two for work at one shop! -

I purchased a Living Social to Floc sometime last year and was excited to check it out. Unfortunately I had to visit the store twice to finally spend it and didn't even walk out with anything I truly felt was worthwhile.
The store itself is very nice and is going for a certain vibe - I definitely didn't get the most friendliest of treatment from the employees, maybe it was just an off day.
I found that the pieces they carry are very nice and very high end (reflected in the price) but there was nothing they had that was out of the ordinary or particularly breathtaking, especially at such a high price point. They had a lot of basic pieces (tshirts, tanktops, layering essentials) for very high prices, and I had a hard time understanding that. I know they feature some Canadian and organic brands, which is nice, but there was really nothing *affordable* in the store, even in the sale rack. I don't know, I don't consider myself to be a cheapskate by any means, but I had a very hard time finding something that appealed to me at Floc.
The store carries mostly clothes, a few jewelry pieces, a few accessories (shoes, belts, purses). Expect to come in and spend some money! -

Another amazingly trendy women's clothes boutique in Edmonton's "block to shop". Floc carries fantastic items of clothes, bags, shoes and accessories which are definitely for women who are in the know about fashion. Whether I am looking for classic elegant pieces or evening wear with lost sparkle and rhinestones, Floc has got it all. They do have some interesting and quite inexpensive footwear, and I love the selection of scarves they carry.
Going to Floc, do not expect to buy cheap clothes. They sell quality pieces which are priced accordingly. But if you are willing to pay more for the good stuff, then Floc is definitely your place. By the way, there is always a SALES rack at the back of the store, where you can find good items marked down to ridiculous prices. -

Floc is a great store for urban and stylish women. There is a fair bit of wear to work clothing as well as items for that cocktail after work. They also usually have cocktail and longer dresses as well as shoes, jackets and accessories. I love this shop, I just can't afford much in it! They do have some very reasonably priced jackets though and their shoes tend to be affordable. Everything in here is beautiful, very tailored and of the moment. I really love their jeans and found a really cool black pair of skinny jeans with black shiny accents of leather on the back pockets. Now I just have to save some pennies so I can go back and get them! Thankfully they are very good about putting items on hold.
