Contrary to it's yellow pages listing this is not a coffee bar, in fact I would be surprised if there was a coffee maker on premises.
Slightly less seedier than its neighboring bar, London Docks ( http://www.yelp.ca/biz... ), though it still remains seedy enough that it is an interesting expierence.
The drinks are in bottles or cans and at a very reasonable price. Though they have a draft beer I would not give that to my dog, if I owned a dog, hell I would give to someone I didn't liked dog.
The really winner of this bar is the tender. An 80 year old boxer named John who takes no lip from the local ruffians and always has a story, from boot legging for his dad to bicycling across europe.
As for the food I've never eaten the food nor would I and there is a giant jar of pickled eggs on the counter and I have yet to be that drunk, ever.
What it lacks in decor it makes up in people watching and price.
