Review from Karine D.
Montréal, QC
A few months ago I signed up to Fit for Life and so far my experience has been nothing but great. The women's gym has brand new machines and a great variety of those for all my workouts. There are many machines so I never have to wait for any to free up. The amenities are clean and new as well, the showers are modern and new. The women's gym upstairs is open until 10pm, however when I wanted to work out at a later time, I have free access to the gym downstairs (for men and women) which is 24hrs, this is greatly convenient. In addition, they recently renovated the bathrooms downstairs as well. Also, as a mother of a young child, they have the kindergarden so my son can have fun with other children while I work out.
To top it all, the staff is very friendly and the trainers are helpful.
Great gym, well located in front of the Jarry park so afterwards i can walk my son outside as well.
Working out is a really fun experience at Fit for Life and Fit for Femme! And all for an unbeatable price. -
Review from Risa D.
I had heard from savvy friends in the neighborhood that Fit for Life and the women's gym upstairs, Fit Pour Elle, were offering great membership deals through their website. I went and got a tour and though the women's gym seemed small it was very clean, all new machines, and kind of chill, relaxing, piled with super clean towels, even a little pretty. So I got a great deal through the website ($12 a month for 16 months!) and I've been a few times since, enjoyed myself alright but a some things bummed me out a tad. There is now only one check-in table downstairs for both floors instead of a separate entrance and separate check-in table for the women's gym like I saw on the tour. Obviously this is a money saver, which is cool, but definitely dented the quiet vibe I'd been into. The other thing I noticed this week is that there were no longer any clean towels upstairs - I just need to remember to grab them from downstairs next time, which is no big deal, but combined it starts to feel like upstairs is a bit of an after thought making it less likely I'll urge my friends to join me.
