Review from Alice B.
This review is for the breakfast buffet. Our family ate here twice during our stay and both times it was great. Priced at $29 CAD per adult, with kids under 5 free, it was a great deal considering we paid much more for breakfast at another casual bakery place outside of this resort.
The scrambled eggs were fluffy and prepared just right. I loved the bacon and pork sausages, and they even had a made to order omelette bar. The fresh fruit was very tasty. They also had the usual assortment of pastries, cheese/crackers, smoked salmon, bagels, cereals, and oatmeal.
We didn't get tired of the food, and could have eaten here every morning. The juices were awesome and tasted very fresh. Now this place knows how to prepare an awesome breakfast buffet. -

This review is just for the bar.
It's great ambiance, and you feel relaxed there. great.
but the negatives: there are no views (you're in whistler with beauty everywhere and you put the bar/restaurant in the basement? I don't mind paying $20 for a drink, but when I do, it better be good. My wife ordered some berry drink that was tiny and 90% ice. and nothing unique or distinctive about it. Compare that to the river rock cafe that served us amazing cocktails along side brilliant food.
Unfortunately, i wouldn't come back -

this review is for the thursday night bbq.
tonight was my 2nd visit to the four seasons bbq. the first time was amazing -- great service, HUGE spread, good food. tonight shouldn't even deserve 2 stars, but i'll give it that because of the first experience.
tonight.... we walked in, asked a waitress for a table outside, but she said to go inside and see the hostess. so we went inside to the hostess stand and spoke to the girl standing there. she said to just go back outside and take the table that had just become available. she didn't offer to show us to the table, and when i mentioned that the table hadn't been cleared yet, she said it doesn't matter, just sit down. soooo we did. then the server came up to us again and said theres a waiting list and blah blah blah. basically, they were so damn unorganized that the staff just kept sending us in circles until we finally gave up and sat ourselves inside.
the service inside was a disaster as well. we were halfway through our 2nd plate of food before our pitcher of beer finally arrived. the useless manager on duty couldn't be bothered by our predicament when my boyfriend tried to explain his discontent. the manager just gave us a bunch of excuses.
since our last visit, they cut down the size of the buffet by about 75%. last month, there were at least 6 different salads and a few more sides. today there was only one green salad, one potato salad, and one fruit salad. so disappointing.
the food itself is so inconsistent. one piece of steak is amazing, one piece is tough and undercooked. one piece of shortribs is perfect, the sausage is raw inside. the suckling pig is exceptionally delicious, but the sides are generally underseasoned and bland. also, the "seafood paella" was ONLY very hard rice and mushrooms.
what a travesty. -

Went here a few years ago with my family and everything was great. All of the food was nicely prepared and service was friendly and punctual. Our water glasses were always kept from getting empty.
I have to thank Fifty Two 80 (the restaurant is named for the amount of vertical height in feet for Blackcomb Mountain) for introducing me to moules et frites (mussels and fries). So delicious! And now whenever I see it on any menu I eat it to compare; needless to say their version was lovely.
A nice place to go out for dinner in Whistler when you don't want to walk all the way to the Village. Ambiance was pleasant, as you might expect from anything in the Four Seasons Hotel. -

I had a delicious warm seafood salad here recently.
Lobster, scallops and prawns over lettuce with chive-parmasean dressing and a glass of prosecco. It was divine!
I also loved the seafood chowder with a glass of Laughing Stock Chardonnay from the Okinagan and as well as the assorted oysters and cheese plate.
Bask in the lovely, delightful atmosphere and fantastically courteous service as you listen to a pleasant variety of soft, soothing music.

Review from Jaime C.
We ate at this restaurant a few times. Tuesday nights in the bar they have half price bottles of wine, we were able to get ours in the dining room which was great. We started with a very blah heirloom tomato dish, however, both our entrees were delicious and generous portions. We finished with the Apple pie with multiple ice cream which was great. Another evening we ate off the bar menu. The seafood sampler was not the best. Considering every other dish we got was huge, this one was pretty skimpy. We also did the breakfast in the morning which was fantastic. The buffet had so much stuff, it was delicious.

Had a very good meal at Fifty Two 80 and considered a 4 star rating - they had a thoughtfully prepared regular tasting menu and a Thanksgiving-themed tasting menu which was very inventive, offering a butternut squash and lobster soup, a Nova Scotia scallop and caviar appetizer, and a Turkey main course, which was everything one would want from a Thanksgiving dinner. Both menus were priced for the off-season at $42 and $54 respectively for 4 courses. The service was as expected at a Four Seasons restaurant and the wine list, while marked-up, had a nice by-the-glass selection.

Great feel, and very homey for what is absolutely the best restaurant in Whistler. The food is top notch, and you cannot miss the lobster stuffed bacon skins. This dish alone is worth the trip to Canada.

Perhaps it was because I had just spent a day at the spa but the ambiance in this place made me feel warm, cozy, and relaxed (think dark wood, leather seating, dim lighting). Our group of four parked ourselves in the bar section at a table near a fireplace. We arrived right before dinnertime but waited patiently to order food with beverages in hand and a live band to entertain us. The cocktails were well-made and the food options were plentiful. Bar menu came with the standards like burgers and pulled pork yumminess, but my girlfriend and I ended up sharing a rib-eye from the main menu. High quality cuts of meat with your choice of rub. They also bring out six various sauces to compliment the steaks, making for a nice variety of flavors. The table shared some sides including fries, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese. Highly recommend them all. A bit pricey, but you are dining at the Four Seasons.
